If “not annoying”, then there’s no use comparing her to Heigl. :)

I’m not sure I get the connection. Leto’s Joker was almost universally derided. So, getting rid of him would be the WB listening to fans.
Haha! Waller is a piece of work.
I suspect they mostly realized they had a mess and cut more Smith into the film to try to salvage whatever positives they could. That being said, I don’t really think Smith hogged the movie. The main focus of the movie is clearly, far and away Harley Quinn, and the emotional core of the film is Diablo.
Enh. I think Smith’s Deadshot was one of the better parts of the movie and Kinnamon’s Flag one of the weaker. Either way, the acting/characterization wasn’t the problem with the movie, it was that the premise for forming the team as framed in the movie, and the ensuing plot made no sense.
The same actors/characters in a movie with a script that makes sense would be fine. Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Jai Courtney and the fire guy gave charismatic performances in the service of a godawful screenplay.
He sort of weirdly sounds like a pitch shifted Fetty Wap.
I would half-seriously argue that the past year or so of Trump-era politics have seriously skewed people’s ability to detect satire.
Okay, hold up. I love Max, and I liked Muffit, but let’s be clear.
YOU SHUT UP JASON TORCHINSKY.
The end of season 2 is awesome, but it’s definitely a huge cliffhanger. :(
Side note: Statistically speaking most plane crashes are highly survivable. The complete midair breakup of a plane would be highly lethal, and a direct nose down impact with the ground would be highly lethal, but crashes of that type are vanishingly rare. Most crashes are basically rough landings. Landings with…
Network sponsored players tend to be slow/fiddly, have limited libraries/availability, and are crammed with eleventy kajillion unskippable commercials.
It’s mocking, yes. I wouldn’t call it obtuse.
Does she? A cool jet could fly at some multiple of the speed of sound. I never thought of WW as flying at high supersonic speeds.
They literally namecheck her name in that end scene. I’m not blaming you for not getting the reference, there’s too much comic book nonsense out there to know everything, but when they literally say the villains name on the show it’s not a spoiler.
He had a show about a guy who finds out he’s a spy with a split personality called My Own Worst Enemy that was, IMO, really good and hugely underrated.
This song is infamous in part of my circle of friends because I made a reference to it once in a discussion and several of them had never heard of it, and I was all “What kind of ROCK, on A MOON, in ANOTHER GALAXY have you all been under not to know Umbrella?!?!?!” Not liking it, fine, but not knowing it? I remain…
The core point though, is you don’t get a chance to be a James Gunn or a Patty Jenkins if you don’t get the opportunity in the first place, and women (and minorities) mostly don’t.
This post touches on a specific point of a larger reality that doesn’t get discussed enough: Black (and other POC) nerdery and nerdery in hip hop.
