The problem is, the show is what it is. If the show changes in marked ways, that can be commented on, but it's like reviewing a workplace procedural and every goddamn week going "This show is bad because it doesn't delve into the character's home lives enough." Yes, the show doesn't have a particularly poppy color

The good bits are pretty good. And Munn is generally in amongst the good bits. But man..the bad is pretty bad. My general advice is to fast forward through any Allison Pill scenes, not because she's a bad actor but because they saddled her with a ton of awful plots.

To be fair, I watched every episode of the show and liked the show, but the show could be a real downer. And the Brett Gelman (who I like) stuff was a big, polarizing ask. It's hard to ask most audiences, even "smart" audiences to stick with feel-bad material.

Who have they killed off besides Trip? One data point doesn't make a trend.

Except he whines about it every fucking week. Look, the show is what it is stylistically at this point, unless Bryan Fuller takes over or something. It's one thing to criticise the show that exists for flaws it has any given week, its another to fixate on wanting the show to be something it isn't. Sava's reviews are

This show has had 5 black characters of note that I can think of. Mack, Trip, Andrew, Akela (bionic eye lady), and Mike. Of those 5, only Trip is dead. (Andrew is almost certainly alive).

Yes, it's super crazy how people on a TV show look good, compared to people in the real world. And only Agents of Shield does this! And only for the female characters!

Enh, I'm sorry, but how can anyone guess which shows you haven't gotten around to seeing yet, months later?

Aw, I have a soft spot for Matt Mullins too, from Kamen Rider; Dragon Knight.

I am incredibly tired of Sava complaining about the show's visuals/color palette incessantly.

Asian High Tech Guy? ZZzzzzzzzzzz

He played a super nice guy on the Terminator TV show a few years back.

A few days ago a friend of mine asked me what the plot of Quantico was. I said "The nominal plot or the real plot? The nominal plot is an FBI agent is framed for a terrorist attack she didn't commit, and goes on the run to find out who framed her and why, with copious flashbacks to her training days at Quantico to

I think folks are approaching the show completely wrong. It's an action soap opera. A bunch of very pretty, very shady people flirt and fight and throw wild accusations at each other and put their faces very close together like they're going to kiss. Priyanka Chopra's insane beauty, completely indestructible bouncy

They haven't caught her because Alex Parrish is the perfect generic everywoman. Makes no impression, forgettable face, blends into the crowd. She can sneak right by people and they'd never notice her.

That Metroplex trailer genuinely gave me goosebumps. The "Cities in Dust" on.

I feel like people are forgetting Fall of Cybertron. That was a pretty decent game.

Nope. I wanted to like this, clearly there's a lot of talent in front of and behind the camera. But the lead character exhausted me approximately instantly. The show does a great job of simulating that feeling of being absolutely cornered at a party by someone who is insane, and that's not a feeling I want to tune

Because he's a member of an alien race that uses long distance wormhole travel, and he's hundreds of years old so maybe he knew some rumors or whatnot about this infamous ancient artifact.

How is she too old? If May is exactly Ming Na's age, Hamill would have been an idol for young skaters around when May was about 9-10 years old, and peaking when may was 12-13. That seems fine to me, especially if May is a year or two younger than Ming Na.
