Happy Birthday, Firefox! I don't use you much anymore, but you certainly started the modern browser war, and for that, I'm grateful. Somebody has to compete with the big boys! #firefox

Gizmo5 + Android + Google Voice = a major breakthrough for consumers, and absolute hell for carriers. Could be the idea behind that Zer01 vaporware will finally come to pass. #googlevoice

@DiscoZombie: I gotta say, I hate how it's set as IE's default. So mainstreamly retarded in content... #remainders

This should come in handy, I still have folders leftover from when I used iTunes that it never bothered deleting. #organization

@joelena: Honestly, how many BellSouth users signed up for their site? #remainders

IMO, the biggest piece of unfairness here is that they're using Apple apps to compare between the two platforms. If anything, this is a comparison of Apple's porting talent, not the OSes on the machine. Plus, Windows has QT 7, Snow Leopard has QT X. Not only are the versions different, the ports (and therefore speed)

A quick tip: If you're using the official app, your outbound calls will be made through a special call out number, which can change from time to time. Place a call to figure out what it is, and add it to your list. AFIAK, they haven't changed it in a while. #googlevoice

I call BS. If you absolutely need to call these people, you can use your real phone number. It's always there as a backup, since you need a real phone to use this. (And don't say the voip solution doesn't do it, I'm sure skype blocks these too).

My biggest gripe is the tasks tool in Gmail. It's really barebones, and it doesn't sync with anything. It'd be awesome if Google bought Remember the Milk and integrated it into its services.

@ArJay: Or, try calling your phone through google voice to connect it to goog411 or something like that.

Oddly enough, it works in Chrome.

Nice, Lifehacker, you took down PasteBin. Anybody else see the irony here?

@mfusion: Looking through the list, I'm guessing it's the ones for girls' education, self-esteem, and education for abuse. Slightly ironic, but good causes. They are, apparently, on the list at the top as well, but they aren't linked (and they really shouldn't be).

@tzed: Anybody test this one? It looks cool.

Ironically enough, Zunes have not only a logo on the top of the plug, but also a small indentation on the side that should be inserted up.

I say they cut a deal with Microsoft and make it so you can download episodes to your Zune. Possibly even bundle it with their Zune Pass service. Plus, they need some live feeds to make it worth the money.

@SalisburyMussenden: It depends on the driver on your soundcard. It's really up the the manufacturer.

It's also crazy slow on my old 8330 Curve.
