The Raptor played a part for sure. No idea why others haven’t done that. But the big turning point for Ford was the updated 2010 Fusion. After that, every single car was good. They haven’t built a bad car in five years. You can’t say the same for GM or Chrysler.
The new GT is the perfect halo car. It will sell Fiesta STs and Focus RSs. It’s the perfect car at the perfect time — something Ford has done well since 2010.

Same can be said of the Lexus LFA. For all it’s engineering and state of the art technology and THAT engine, yet it didn’t do shit for Lexus’ brand appeal due to it being too rare and expensive.
Americans needs to do MORE haggling. It’s a craft of word exchange and mutual compromises of parties. How else would get a good deal? A raise at the office? And to some extent, bipartisanship and diplomacy?
