It is rather unfair to put the onus on low-level fast food employees to check everyone’s vaccination cards, regardless of In-N-Out’s true intentions here.

I say this as someone who likes driving fast, who owns fast cars, and who is generally skeptical of adding more bureaucracy to our lives:

“Please stop harassing us about the conspiracy that we fueled for attention.”

I learned this from an old guy at a frame shop, many years ago. The best way to keep the wood from splitting when driving a nail, is to cut off the pointed end. That way, it pushes its way through the wood, rather than spreading the wood.

Counterpoint: don’t do this, because they have feelings for you and you are stringing them along like a sociopath. What are they going to say, “No I don’t want to have sex with this person I have feelings for”?

I refuse to be the fun police.

Wearing a costume at my door at any age? You get candy.
Not wearing a costume but walking kids? You get candy.
Don’t say “trick or treat” and just hold out a bag? You get candy.
Obviously young adult, but not causing mischief? You get candy.

But, wait. There’s that damn out-of-control paper pile, full of junk mail, newspapers, coupons, and kid artwork

No matter how big this dumpster fire of a year gets, we can always, always, always count on Claire to brighten our days and embiggen our lives.

I’ve worked retail, and I’ve known managers who would fire you over that single cent. I don’t know how it was for this clerk, but if their manager was one of those then I’d be a bit heartbroken but also 100% not getting fired over my heartbreak either. Retail is a cruel industry filled with petty tyrants and desperate

Just wanted to point out that this business brings in roughly 900k a year on average .. That is quite remarkable considering its size and labor needs.

Watched the video. No smoke bombs present. Could easily see culprits. Left disappointed.

“Cancelled” is a Twitter joke that right-wingers latched on to once they ran “woke” into the ground the same way they did “PC” and “SJW”. The phrase “cancel culture” means exactly what those things meant when used by them: “I want to be an asshole to anyone I want and not face the consequences.” It exists as a

The comments sure are something lately

Seriously though the report does not indicate whether these chemicals are leaching into the food, and if they do, how long it takes for any significant amount to accumulate.

Yep. But this was back in the day before true digital displays—most radio and audio equipment of any significant power used vacuum tubes—and the closest thing ham operators like me had to digital clocks was a thing called a Tymeter:
