I have not made the claim that there is any (important) medical reason in the US for men to be circumcised. I just made the claim that it is not for the government to dictate and that it is procedure that is more likely to be of benefit then harm.

Of course condoms, drugs and sexuality changes would have a higher impact on those numbers but my only point is that the benefits outweigh the risk. At the very least that alone should ensure the decision is the families not the government.

I know that this movement against circumcision has convinced itself of that, it finds the most absurd statistics or facts and even makes racist comic books all while missing the point.

I honestly do not know why a majority of Americans (who are not Jews or Muslims) get circumcised but it is not for limiting sexuality. It could have been a reason originally but as any circumcised man will tell you, your penis and and your brain don't remember being circumcised as an infant.
