At no point have I claimed to have in-depth knowledge. I have no doubt both characters are more complex than I'm giving them credit for. But I'm perfectly qualified as a cultural observer to ding them for their representation in most popular mediums. A casual comparison to other big name superheroes illustrates my

I'm not sure of the timeline myself, but the infiltration is irrelevant to what I'm, poorly, trying to get at. In one of the AOS episodes when Fitz is trying to open the portal, he realizes the Pathfinder symbol is hundreds of years old (the Ram's head 'V' looking thing). Thought there was some-tie in happening of the

The symbol they use looks a lot like the Pathfinder program symbol used in Agents of Shield, especially as they trace its corruption/embellishment through the ages. But Word of God is Word of God…

The complaint I keep seeing when power-reading Season 4's reviews is how there is a lack of emotional resonance throughout. Seems that those who agree with that sentiment are forgetting that this is a comedy. Emotional nuance and personal growth are nice additions, but hardly the focus.

I wonder if they've established some rules regarding Wilkes's incorporeality. Can he go up stairs? Can he feel himself?

Holy crap, I can't believe this hadn't occurred to me. Sure he can't steal stuff, but he can drop some eaves!

I know I'm late and that this has likely been covered, but Rita Hayworth was half Spanish (like from Spain), half Irish. Were any struggles she faved as a young actress racial? Or just the piggish, slimy nature of early Hollywood?

Harvesting Barry's energy, building a reserve and then giving him a super charge seems like a solid way to take down Zoom. We've established that Barry's gotten faster, but is that his innate amount of Speed Force improving, or him drawing more of it in?

How can you want to work together when you don't even listen!

Fun episode. It was refreshing to not have it weighed down by Barry's romantic ignorance. The Wells heel-face turn felt a bit quick, but The Flash is best when it's not standing still.

Thankfully, Patty figured out who the Flash was. It only took another 10 awkward encounters with people who know Barry's "secret'. Also, man was that rejection scene painful. She already believes you're the Flash, Barry. She is now in 98% of the same danger, only now without sleeping next to a superhero. C'mon man.

Anyone else curious as to why Reverse-Flash isn't supposed to be able to phase out of the holding cell? You know, the one that someone can have a conversion through, but…

I thought I was in love with Sarah Bolger as Princess Mary… be still my beating heart.

Surprised I don't see more mentions of Thea as the grave occupant. Unlikely, but it would be a refreshingly bold choice. Her boyfriend can't just be a civilian, right?

I did not. It wasn't taught in Northern VA schools circa 2005. Ended up doing so in my Sophomore year at college in a class about Alienation in Literature. The Bell Jar, Darkness Visible, and Where Late the Sweet Birds Sang made for some interesting companion pieces.

All valid points and showing a much deeper knowledge of the subject than myself - my knowledge of Wonder Woman is mostly supplied from bits of 1970's show that I've seen over the years. I'm less a comics fan than I am a superhero fan.

All this does is highlight how old DC's superheroes feel. Her name is Wonder Woman for Christ's sake. Her entire character is a relic from the 50's. Seriously, the entirety of her persona is intimately tied with the fashion and worldview of the 1950's. It just doesn't translate. If they go a 'The Winter Soldier' route

Ahem, "Protect ya Neck".
Signed,

"Barry, listen up. You need to run faster than you did last week, and like 2.4 times faster than the week before".
"But Dr. Wells, I'm not sure I can go faster!"
"I believe you can, Barry."
*runs faster, because comics*
"Phew thank God my exaggerated running motion increases my speed so dramatically. I sure hope next week

I would like to know why Barry sets flowers on fire, in his dreams. Perhaps a Jungian foreshadowing of a doomed relationship with Patty?
