Yeah and other times it doesn't. Nothing wrong with being skeptical.

Interesting, thanks. Yeah for all I know, Spallone really was like that. But so many TV shows will just automatically turn the bad guy into such a super asshole that it's hard to tell the difference.

Probably already discussed, but does anyone have insight on the historical accuracy of the Spallone character? He just seems such a bad guy caricature: sneering, no social graces, blatantly breaking his promises…. then to top it off, he can't even start a council meeting properly, and puts his feet up on the fucking

I agree. The generation/parent theme was laid on pretty thick. I get there is doubt about White Walkers in other parts of the realm, but their existence seemed accepted by Wildlings and Night Watch alike. At least I don't recall either side questioning them of late.

I agree that "hatred is a powerful tihng". But self preservation is more powerful. I don't think anyone needs to see the White Walkers to comprehend how terrifying the threat is. The Wall is proof of that, and White Walker horror stories have been accumulating since Season 1.

After the skirmish at the Wildling camp, would not the surviving Night Watch soldiers tell
