@WookieLifeDay: Definitely, Hamm's other two hosting spots were pretty good, but this one, notsomuch. The monologue was horrible.

@Chris Braak: Peter Serafinowicz does a really good one. Its buried in this clip somewhere. Hader did definitely come close to him though.

I actually pass two polling places before I get to the one I need to go to. The closest polling place isn't necessarily the one you are able to go to.

@DeeLite: No, I've never done it. I was just thinking somebody who'd do this would probably have access to their partner's phone on more than one occassion, and could check each time. But then again, I suppose "just checking the phone" wouldn't work if the suspected cheater deleted the messages as they came in.

This is a little odd I guess. While I do not support the app, or these types of apps, supposedly it just does exactly what it says it does. What I didn't get about the app is, "if you can get to your partner's phone to install an app, couldn't you just read the texts then?"

@fury161: Also, this only means the app cannot be installed via the market. If the devs wish, they can offer this app on their website, and it can be sideloaded (unless you have AT&T). If this was the iPhone, it would mean you cannot get the app without jailbreaking.

@Euclidean: Good point, perhaps the initial lack of support on launch overshadows the fact that they did correct it. I would say that it makes it more important that support for the next one is good from the start, as its hard to change the image if things start off poorly.

Perhaps it was because by the time the 360 came out, I've had Playstation systems for about 10 years already, but I always preferred the PS3 controller. I just don't like the placement of the dpad on the 360. I know it isn't used as often since analog sticks started showing up, but when it becomes necessary to use

@Euclidean: Yeah, I do think the double ETF did get cleared up well. I think part of the problem was how the discounts worked. I think upgrades didn't pay $179, but around $350 (I forget exactly, but I'm pretty sure there was a noticeable difference between new contracts and upgrades). I believe there were some

@JakeWharton: Oh, ok, I was just wondering if there was some sort of an official announcement.

Is is 3.0 or 2.3, or 2.4? I keep hearing different numbers for Gingerbread?

Part of the problem is that people are comparing the theoretical speeds of HSPA+ and comparing them to experienced speeds of Wimax, not considering the fact that HSPA+ will probably fall short of advertised speeds like everything else in the world.

Great. I don't even care if I hate their games or not, last thing games need is every developer trying to be exactly the same. If everybody is trying to make the next FPS, nobody is trying to make the next industry changing genre.

I know its not just a Kotaku thing, but how does Wii Sports have any legitmate claim to being the best selling title of all time? Who actually bought this game? People bought the Wii, they may have been happy that this game along with it, but they didn't buy the game.

Live. Worst case scenario, you have a high end android phone. Depending on price, the PSP part could just be that "one extra feature" that makes people pick this over another comparable phone.

That's fine and all, but perhaps you shouldn't make a movie about the number patterns you see, a la Jim Carrey.

The problem isn't that its a hard question to answer, the problem is that they don't verify whether the answer is true or not.

The episodes this season has felt a little more isolated than the last, which is fine. But, I think the show is at its best when its doing what it originally did (spoofing those old cartoons, are the general hero/supervillian relationship). Even the storyline with Brock thinking OSI turned on him were great. But

@MYMHM: Well, with 3G, the Tab is cheaper, and if there is any confusion I imagine that would be cleared up pretty quick.

I'm going to go with Final Fantasy 7, this little plucky RPG from the 90s seemed to go unnoticed, and it almost completely forgotten today.
