@GM_Pax: Right, there are already ways to prevent this. Preventing used games sales as they are today seems unlikely, as it seems to fit exactly into that first sale doctrine.

If it isn't balloons, that means an alien race found a way to travel to our planet, get within thousands of feet of surface, then say, "F*ck it, lets just head home" instead of landing.

If I install software from a disc, and no longer need the disc, I can understand if I can resell that disc to somebody else, resulting in two people being able to play a game off one disc.

@hvrock13: Exactly, people get on her for "relying on Apple to do her homework" saying its dumb.

@Mister_Roboto: For about 10 years after Spaceballs was released, I always heard rumors (in school, from 9 year olds, since this was before the internet) that there would be a Spaceballs 3: The Search for Spaceballs 2.

Personally, I don't think there really is any other choice. I've heard Hugh Jackman, but I don't think he could get the humor/personality down.

Well, the industry was asleep at the wheel, but not for his reasons. I don't think suing every college kid who downloaded music would have been a good idea (wasn't there a report that they spent more money suing than what they collected?).

Just wondering, where would you put Sprint Navigation? I know it's not really OS specific, but I've heard that is as good as Google's?

Don't you mute me, don't you dare use Cisco's "Sure Mute" technology on me!

@Jacobm001: Yeah, I didn't know if that meant they bought a 49 acre estate, or had 49 left after the sale. I suppose that would make more sense.

Android 2.2

Looking at the photo, it looks like by the time they realized they wouldn't be able to progress any further, they wouldn't be able to turn around, and an air lift would have been necessary anyway, so no big deal there.

Do the smaller bags make the same noise? We have them here at work, and they don't seem all that loud, definitely not to the point where I'd think, "I hope this doesn't hurt my ears."

@jay13x: A whole lot cheaper to buy up the rights before its becomes successful. I have no idea how much the rights cost in this case, but you hear about stuff like this after E3 too, games have their movie rights sold just off the E3 trailer.

Hmm, buried with a cellphone, sounds like there may be a movie in that premise.

I've been working in appraisals too long, the first thing I thought of was "1 acre counts as a farm?"

@Erinaceus: I always thought that hank and dean were genetically created and didn't have an actual mother. But I caught onto the show late, and when that was revealed I was blazing through the DVDs to catch up, and I might have missed something.

To me, a "hipster" always referred more to how a person acted as opposed to what a person liked, and it's totally okay to dislike somebody based on how they act. Heck, it may be the only (good) reason to dislike somebody.
