@RockyRan: Nobody died for me, I did all the loyalty missions, and upgraded the armor and guns for the ship. (When I saw this was an upgrade option, I figured it must be important. I didn't do much upgrading otherwise.)

@slithy toves: I think I had Eidolon right in my head, except the accent was on the wrong syllable.
@CubemonkeyNYC: Leveling up in the beginnnig is easy, and you get enough points to fill all three roles for all your characters pretty quickly (unless you avoid all enemies you can). It's good because by the time you need to start making real choices, you kind of know how you might like to use each character.
@the7k: eh, to me the difference between hardcore and casual is pretty much "most console/pc games" vs "most web-based/cell phone games." I know there are exceptions, but my main test to tell if a game is hardcore or not, is "can you play the game at work, and then minimize the window when your boss walks by."
@battra92: I actually remember liking it, though I think its pretty much universally panned.
@Bugoongu: I used to, until a few years ago when I realized I didn't know who was who when people talked about FF7, since I renamed everyone, I forgot who was Tifa, Cloud, Barret, etc.
@xMindPrintsx: I want to add that if you play the PSN version, make sure you create a virtual PS1 memory card before playing, otherwise you won't be able to save it. I assumed it would save the way the PS3 games do, so I had to reply the first part. Didn't take long, but its still annoying.
@battra92: PacMan: The New Adventures to be released on Virtual Console, PSN, and XBL
@Russell_Crowe86: From what I read, it had a lot of interesting ideas, like Lynch is unstable so when you play solo, Lynch "hallucinates" and starts shooting up everything, but if you play co-op, who ever is Lynch will sometime see a bunch of extra enemies who aren't really there, which simulates the random shooting…
@DragonDawn85: yes, its more tied to the roles I think, of course, if you have a paradigm that includes the three roles you need to use that will work quicker than switching paradigms frequently. Problem is, if you use Libra, you only get the info that "yeilds to bonus chain attacks" and you don't find out using…
Reviews. For me they are for informational purposes only, but is there one site/show/magazine where you notice their opinions match up with your more often. Not to say other sites have bad revies, but just one site seems to have the same tastes as you? Which one?
@Ossidiana: I know what you're saying, but back in the NES days, the question would be why would you buy almost any game when you could just get Super Mario 3
@G1bblets (Interplanetary ninja assassin): My father and cousin have their birthday today, and I know about 2 other friends. Not that I know you two, but still, I think I know/heard of more people having today as their birthday than any other.
@Hatberg: I know at least some of them last through cut scense, like fortisol (which is haste, etc), but for boss battles, I doubt the sol that allows for preemptive attachs would work. But I imagine that has to do more with "you can't really sneak up on a guy you just spent 5 minutes talking to" as opposed to "time…
@HowIsYourFlat: It does seem like that site has a lot more fanboy comments than this one, and according to his previous articles, it does look like Jim made his mind up before finishing the game.
40gb phat version, no problems 25 hours in.
I'm about 25 hours in, but I'd have to say it seems like Team Xbox played for about 5-6 hours. It's pretty easy avoiding enemies if you want, of course each level has a number of enemies that block doors so you can't block them.
@Go_Fighting_Mongooses: I'm not as far as you, but I think Snow says "Hero" about 9000 times before the first boss battle
@JayUnreal, Go ahead, swim for it.: I wish I could tell that I fought the good fight, and that NES was the worst system I owned.
@darktorns: Yeah, but with the "monetizing" comments made by Moore a little bit ago, it looks like they're eyeing an opportunity to take the "most evil" title back.
