@Sathallrin: I didn't look anything up, but I haven't played in 13 or 14 years. I don't even know what Legendary means. I got out when they started restricting counter spells. One local place put a limit on "Islands" because there were too many counter spells.

@ttocs: I agree, even if they sell a few less copies, I can't imagine it would be that many, and wouldn't using two or three different covers cost a little more also, so wouldn't it cancel out.

@icepick314: I was actually thinking mirror images, my bad. But the hand could either be left or right depending on the perspective.

I still think the Heavy Rain cover was a bit overblown. What I don't like about some of the redesigns is that they look crappy. I don't mean the actual design, but the actual art. The US Ico covers looks like it would have been better served if they just in game artwork.

@icepick314: The silliest thing about that whole ordeal was, if the photographer was facing the hand (as opposed to a photo of his own hand) it probably was a left hand in the original picture, since that flips the image. They probably used a right hand in the final version so it looked like a left hand.

@B-ACE: I think this happens, however, we still see a lot of games get their release dates pushed back, so they still do worry about it a little.

@grantanamo: I thought it was really cool too, despite being just an interactive cut scene really. I did smile when I saw the angel wings by the first corpse.

@Y-bot: Not sure what its called, but fear of being stuck in the middle of the ocean.

@Female Orca: I have a 40gb (not launch, but the next batch), I asked if it was BC, and they said "eh, with some games." I haven't tried it since I still have my PS2 anyway (haven't used it much though). But if you have a PSfat (or whatever they call it) and it doesn't play PS2 games, you may just be trying older

@B-ACE: Really, most games are just "more of the same thing." I did enjoy Bioshock 1 more because lot of it was new. But part 2 was a lot of fun, and its biggest flaw was that the "theme" was done before. The gameplay is better in part 2, the story is better in part 2* (yes it is), the moral choices are more

Anybody remember Taboo for the NES? Perhaps I'm showing my age here, but when I was younger, when we rented video games, my brother and I had to agree on which game to rent, or we didn't get to rent any. He would never go for Taboo, so I finally rented it on my birthday since I went to the store alone with my

@eldictator: well, grounded except for the $40k of jewelry from his wrist to his finger on his right hand.

@chuckrich81: After watching Neverending Story 3, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this picture. There should never be another Neverending Story movie, ever.

I suppose its something I'd have to see to decide if I hate it or not. I remember playing FF10 and thinking that you don't wander between towns the way you did in previous games. It was odd at first, but I ended up liking it.

@Ali-Kharazi: No clue, but to tack on to your question, does anybody know if they have plans on selling games for systems older than ps2 and xbox?

With the reviews of Heavy Rain coming out, more and more mention of Indigo Prophecy's ending is bouncing around. Am I the only person who really didn't mind the ending to this game? Granted, its not my favorite ending in the world, but I don't get the hate at the "weird" ending. I mean, the game starts out with a

@DukeOfPwn: it's really not that negative, it was a 7, which they list as "good."

@deanbmmv: Pretty much what that article said was a game was rated on its potential. So a 7 means the game can be three points better than it actually was. So they were saying a 7 could be better than a 9, only that the 7 had room for improvement but the 9 was pretty much all it could be. So in theory, some cheesy

Not a huge fan of Crackdown 2, but it reminds me a little of old atari game logos, if that was the goal, good job I guess.

@DugDawg: Don't want to drive you more crazy, but assuming you really like Just Cause, you might need to add Just Cause 2 to your list, releases in March.
