@vanillakokakola: Amazon has a buy 2 get 1 deal, but its only for Platinum hits

@QualityJeverage: Yeah, you can tell its Europeans trying to do American accents as far as the voice acting goes.
@The-Dayman: Not for Borderlands, but for Halo 3. I really can't get into that game, and I tried so many times. Granted, I'm not a big FPS fan, but I do like some of them. Also, it doesn't seem like my 360 can handle it, its the only game that my 360 has that "loud sound" for, and it freezes a lot.
In sports games, more ads just increases the realism of the game. For the love of god, in Football (american football), the red zones are sponsored, the coin flips, the keys to the game, the kickoffs, the punts, the field goals, the time outs. If a game managed to actually out-advertise televised sports, I'd…
You know, I can't find one review that says something like, "and don't worry, the ending isn't as nearly as lame as it was for part 1". Not looking for a spoiler, just assurance that the end is a little more satisfying.
@Joe Sunrider: Never played Space Giraffe, but Taboo for the NES has to be in the conversation. It may not qualify though, as I don't believe its actually a game, and not just a number generator.
@BlackieC420: I'm not sure how they deliver, but usually residential deliveries are done last, as business deliveries and other time sensitive packages are done first.
@OmegaSpartan08: I downloaded the demo, and it reminded me a lot of point and click adventures, just with a much more immersive interface. I enjoyed the demo, but it doesn't give any indication of how much each decision really plays into the overall game.
@Nintendo451: Same here, but I think Darksiders was one of those games some sites either loved or hated. I've seen some really good reviews for it too.
I'm actually looking forward to the multiplayer. I don't do the online stuff too much in games, so I stay away from games that focus on it, like MW2. But I do want to get more involved. The multiplayer in Uncharted 2 was fun, and didn't seem to have the anger I've seen in some COD multiplayer games (granted this…
@yantelope: Create a new userID, and select any Europe country as the location, then the code will work. Of course, I think the demo will be available worldwide this week?
@JoshUng: And I'll probably cheat and get the Heavy Rain demo thanks to Kotaku
Looks like I'll be snowed in and won't be able to pick up Mass Effect 2 like I was hoping. So I guess this is a cleanup weekend for me.
That's a little earlier than I started, I started with Fantastic Four (#358 I believe, it was a 30th anniversay die-cut issue) I got from video rental store for $2 which was about half price for the anniversary issue.
I'm not sure about all the "scabs", but a lot of them were minor league players who were not protected by the union. I remember an interview with Shane Spencer, who was one of the replacement players, and he pretty much said the choice he was given was to be a scab, or have his career end there.
@Rena Lanford: First thing I thought was that Johnny 5 and the "spider with a baby doll head" from Toy Story had a child.
@Zuleika Firpo: InFamous was pretty good, I have to second the calls for Uncharted 1 & 2 as well as Ratchet and Clank.
@Altima NEO: I haven't played ME2 yet (still working on ME1) so my thoughts should mean very little. But I imagine since you did play part 1, you at least know the backstory, so you already have that benefit.
Wasn't this game real popular, perhaps part of it is not only are a lot of people trying to sell it back, but most people who wanted it bought it.
@Cloral: Good point, but if motion controls don't add anything, it seems like it would be charging people for not knowing the original works on the Wii as well.
