Whether its a better version or not (I really don't know), would a second Mario Kart game really sell. Okay, it probably would, but would it be necessary?

@Wolfnave: Haven't played ME2 yet, (just got a 360 and picked up ME1), but I did notice this with the first installment. Normally, I am able to rely entirely on autosave, or I need to save each time myself. It seems this game works better with a nice combination of the two. It took a little while to get used to,…
@hanzmoleman007: First thing I thought was, "Does Andy Garcia really warrant a stretch SUV"
@Cochese: Is Secretly Chip Ormsby: Oh, okay. I feel better about not throwing a shit-fit about the "young'ins messing with my nostalgia", suppose I would have looked a little foolish.
I don't have a Wii, and have no plans to buy one anytime soon. That is the only reason I don't play Mario games. I have played Galaxy at my parents house since my sister has a Wii, and I liked the game, but not nearly as much as SM3, SMWorld, and Mario 64. Now, I hear Galaxy is a great game, but for some reason it…
There's a Facebook fan page ""When I was young we had to blow on our games so they'd play" and the photo for the group has a bunch of SNES games. I only had this problem with NES games, I was always told that the top loading aspect of the SNES kind of solved that problem. Was it just me? Did you all ever have to…
The actual artwork looks better in the European box art, but I like the actual design in the US better. A tad more original. I've seen plenty of games with the characters in the center, but not the top/bottom design on the US box.
@poodleface: It's really no different for "Best Picture" though. Different types of movies appeal to different people.
I applaud them if this is all true, for caring enough about something that most people won't notice.
@Rampage: It the voiceover equivlent of "face for radio".
Not sure why I see so much Uncharted hate. That game was fantastic. It wasn't just graphics, it was how they blended the cut scenes into the action to the point where sometimes you didn't realize you had control again.
@fierysensation: AC2 had 6 million units sold, UC2 had 2 million (times 3 to equal 6 million), and DS had 600k (times 10 to equal 6 million). So he multiplied by 3, 1, and 10 to use cancel out the fact that the games didn't sell the same amount. If I am reading it right.
I'm sure it comes down to size of the community, % of said community with headsets, and average age of the community. (From what I've read, PSN is slightly older as far as average age is concerned.)
@atrimus: Granted, I may not have played as many games as some people here, but I haven't played anything quite like the collasping building scene in UC2. That, and the way they use motion-cap and recorded the voicework was pretty innovated.
@tetracycloide: Didn't really agree with the points for UC2 since they seem to be using standards they wouldn't use for other games. I can see preferring a game with "choice" than a linear game, but condemning a game for being linear is a bit extreme.
I'm thinking 2pm is the first Left for Dead only because there have been zombie games for too long for them to be selling SNES or PSOne games. Since L4D2 is the daily special, it would make sense for part 1 to be "the original"
Uncharted 2, its the only game I played through for a third time since the SNES days. The multiplayer seemed a bit more inviting to people who didn't play online much (which was a plus for me, I understand that would be a minus for others.)
Small claims court, depending on the size of the hard drive, amound of dlc, petition fee, and even if you charge for hours spent preparing it, it couldn't cost more than $1000. Unlikely US Air would show up, giving you a default judgement, and if they did, the "we don't have to explain ourselves" argument won't work,…
I don't know what's funnier, the commercial, or the fact that some people are complaining that high scores and lives aren't used in many games anymore.
@HenryEvil: I agree in the sense that it would be a good movie poster, where you're more likely to have a better idea of what its about.
