I'd have to give this one third place. I think the uproar over the US one is a bit too much, it just added the characters to the European one, this is completely different.

@puffa469: Like the cone bra's Madonna work in the early 90s? I'll pass.

@Jaysunli: Sony did it supposedly for developers to make PS3 the lead platform. It wasn't some selfless act of theirs.

Really, I don't think the American boxart is all that bad. Granted, I prefer the European cover, but I wouldn't even bother printing it out, the difference isn't that big to me.

@puffa469: Independant from the boxart discussion, does anybody like origami more than tits?

Granted, I like the PAL version better, but a lot of times, I think this is built up too much. Less isn't always more. Some European box covers look classy, but a lot remind me of old puzzle PC games like 11th Hour, and seem kind of cheesy.

Well, the man thinks Avatar was a good game, so I'm not sure he'll have the same touch as he does with movies.

@vidhagans: You definitely start with part 2. The story doesn't continue off of part one, but if you decide to play part 1 afterwards, a small part will be spoiled because you played part 2 already. Also, part 2 looks so much better. I didn't notice it as much until I went to replay part 1 after beating part 2.

Just wondering, does anybody know if Sony or MS has a support team to help devs port their games?

I read an article once where Itagaki basically admits he made DOA exclusive because he was lazy. I think he actually said the game would be better if they focused on just one system.

It would be interesting, and could easily tie in well with the "Bravery" article just posted as well. One benefit is that it could provide meaning to some of the useless moral choices in games. Generally, you don't care if you're nice or a jerk, but with the surrender aspect, if an enemy surrenders, but you shoot

I like option 3. Otherwise they should just stop being married to the actors. If a character has run their course, let them go, kill the character.

So he gets rid of the statue and has to move to her country? Wow, at least tell me the guy got a couple free passes or "special coupons" in return. Those are major bargaining chips to give away for free.

I'm all for an extremely violent game set in Australia. In fact, make it so violent that the game won't be allowed to be sold in Australia. I'd drop $60 just for the irony.

I'm not judging anybody who does it, but I honestly autograph collecting is one of the most ridiculous things to do. I'm not a big fan of ebooks, but this is one change I'd welcome.

D9 took a little while for me to get into, but overall, I'd say Avatar was a lot more heavy handed in their message than D9 was, so if that is a negative, I'd say D9 is more deserving.

I think publishers should try to get Wii games out that offer support for GameCube controllers etc. I like Super Mario Galaxy, but there were plenty of times I wished I could use a traditional controller to play it. And that game had controls that made sense with waggle. When you take a game that probably would

Not to be the 100th person to say it, but yeah, the guard doesn't die.

@D-K, Anarchist: Just try to kill one, when you do, take their crossbow, the arrows kill them usually in one shot.

Well, Valve just got a whole lot lamer.
