Sounds a lot like Audi purposely dulled down the driving experience on this car to avoid stepping on the toes of the RSQ8 that would otherwise be almost mechanically identical. Honestly wish they made the looks of this thing at least SLIGHTLY less dull.

If your parents were from LA though, they’d already have pre-ordered the RSQ8 if not the Urus. Being from the Northeast makes tacky shows of wealth much more taboo but in some areas of the country everyone at work is rocking $80K+ SUVs and you feel much more pressure to do so as well. All the techbros in the bay area

Fun hidden Easter eggs with little hints to this being from Detroit are cool. Printing the skyline of Detroit on the glass roof is just obnoxious. I want to be able to see the sky, not Detroit’s skyline every day. This is a terrible idea.

I’m actually pretty impressed they came up with this crackpot idea to stay in business. Seems like they got a lot of hate for it but probably a lot better than firing everyone and giving up

Even people genetically predisposed to interpreting cilantro as gross will enjoy it if they grow up in a culture that uses it heavily. A lot of how you interpret a taste is driven by nostalgia so it’s possible for cilantro to not taste terrible even to a supertaster. The issue is that as an adult you’d have to force

I think one of the issues is that my car USED to be relatively rare. I think I had one of the first Model 3's in the doctor’s lot. So when someone else showed up with the same color Model 3 I legit thought it was mine lol

You’re thinking extremely American here. If you’ve been to some major European cities lately (and even some Canadian ones) then you’d have seen that they’ve put chargers all over the place with tons of street parking spots becoming EV charging spots.

Yeah but can you pump 36 gallons into it at home while you’re sleeping? This is a nonsensical comparison. I go on road trips all the time and charging has literally never been an issue because it’s always combined with a meal or bathroom break. This won’t be the case for the shorter range Model 3 but the long range

It’s not going to win in a cost comparison against a hybrid Camry or a gas Camry that’s only highway driven. But having owned both cars this is a ridiculous comparison because you have a front heavy FWD vehicle that’s a softie highway cruiser being compared to a much sportier RWD EV that’s largely tuned for

Most people finance their vehicle payments so it’s literally the same monthly spend whether you blow it on gas on a car that gets 20mpg or you get a high performance EV.

I don’t know about that, you’re claiming Tesla does what their actual competitors like Bollinger and Nikola do. Except none of the Tesla vehicles have ever been designed to be impractical, they typically push how practical they’re going to be over the competition. When the Model S came out they were pushing how you

Frunk closure sensors malfunction all the time. In addition to regular electronic failures people also get into minor fender benders and not being able to drive away after some low speed impact because the frunk sensor got shifted would be ridiculous.

Kia vehicles in general have had some issues with lighter color leather interiors staining relatively easily from jeans/dark pants. That’s most likely why they’ve chosen to just offer black and a relatively dark red as the only options. Otherwise the interiors look very worn out after only a couple of years.

The top performance trim of the Model 3 weighs about what a base V6 Challenger weighs but it’s nowhere near as heavy as the performance models of the Challenger. The Hellcat has 500 pounds on a Performance Model 3.

The very electric VW IDR holds the world record for Pikes Peak and it weighs less than 1100kg. And in case you forgot all the fastest LMP1 cars were hybrids already so they already had a lot of weight from the hybrid system. Now you just need to get batteries to be approximately equal to the weight of a traditional

You would think the UAW would welcome white collar workers getting to see first hand the issues on the line so that things will get better over time, but that’s not how the UAW thinks. What a bunch of rotten apples. It’s not like GM is firing the UAW workers and replacing them with white collar workers so it’s

I wonder if it can be cleared if you reverse the modification and update the software. There’s likely some way to get rid of it.

It just pops up an obnoxious message you can’t get rid of. You can still use and drive the car, it just looks stupid.

I doubt that this car is anywhere near as torquey/powerful as those US spec models. The top speed on this thing is only 62mph! And this was built from the ground up to be an EV so it didn’t have all the legacy costs. It’s just super basic transportation that’s a big upgrade from two wheeled transportation for young

Man, after seeing this video I’m not even sure one large American driver could fit across the two front seats. This thing is super tiny. Could you imagine a 6'5" obese Texan man trying to cram themselves into this thing.
