All the newer cheap ones are automatics for a reason, none of the manual ones are cheap. Ford’s stupid dry clutch dual-clutch transmission constantly breaks on these and basically makes the dual-clutch models worthless because you’ll be constantly putting in a new transmission forever.

If it doesn’t have 996 style melting egg headlamps it’s no Sally!

It’s a lot of money burning but that’s why Rivian has that $15 billion pile stashed away, they were basically expecting to be setting cash on fire like this for years. As long as they can ramp revenues so that the losses narrow they’ll be able to survive.

Even fully loaded after the price hike it’s not $100K+. Most people are fine with the dual motor variant that starts in the 70s.

The way inflation is going the answer to when you can buy one new for under $50K is never.

Looks are deceiving, modern trucks and SUVs are actually surprisingly aerodynamic. They’re just also very large vehicles.

It’s nowhere near that tall, I’ve been sitting right next to R1T’s in my F150 before and it’s not a especially tall truck. You also don’t drive it in max height mode unless you’re off road. Also if you drove one with the all terrain tires the street ones are a couple inches smaller in diameter so the ride height drops

Have you guys never heard of truck bed mats and tonneau covers? You can put a waterproof bedrug liner in your truck bed for a little over $100 and it’ll be carpeted just like the trunk of a car and stop stuff from sliding around. You can throw a bed divider in there so your stuff stays near the tailgate, you can get a

lol, if you think this is a train wreck wait until you read about how the only folks who’ve ever gotten an F-150 Lightning Pro are people whose dealerships specifically prioritized them to get a first wave reservation. Doesn’t matter if you reserved the first second it was available, the dealership can put other

It’s only used as a redundant component for people who are actually using the car with level 3 software, and since this software doesn’t yet actually exist there’s no actual safety issue so long as they retrofit the second module for when they do release the software to people who purchase it. Almost nobody is

It’s not a semi it’s a Ford F-series truck (the F150 fanatics already figured this out a few days ago based on the dash)

Yeah it sounds like it’ll be more like the original Humvee but retrofitted into an EV. No way in hell it’s getting 310 miles in the real world from 140kw though.

You guys bullied this poor company into renaming this product line. Now it’s sadly DickASE: http://www.gzsaiqu.com/product_108.html

Do you really think that taxing the rich would change any of this? Maybe you should check which developed nation has the worst wealth inequality of all. Hint: it’s where they’re building El Jefe’s boat

On the bright side him being dumb enough to shoot out his own windows meant that the bullets had a lot less energy by the time they hit the other car. Probably saved his dumb ass from straight up homicide charges. If you look at the photos of the bullet holes in the other car they’re actually right in the middle of

They’re too busy taking those chips to put into $120K Escalades to care.

You’d think the first place you’d go looking when both the person and their car is missing would be the river next to the road without any guardrails on it but...I guess not.

Lots of cars have level 2 adaptive cruise control systems though, it’s just that autopilot is the most well known. But your car having a driver assist system doesn’t absolve you of needing to brake at stop lights and back in 2019 the Autopilot system never claimed to be able to stop at stop lights so pinning this on

There’s no way this range change is solely due to the center infotainment having a Ryzen. Either they’re making the upgraded hardware do a bunch of extra processing for some reason or there’s some other change they’re not explaining because the computer shouldn’t be running at 100% peak power all the time and even if
