I've reached the age of which NFL players of my age are talked about as 'nearing the end of their careers' and 'salty veterans'.

Ha, touche!

There had better be something special about it, at least. color, badge, seats, 80hp supercharger, something......

That's the ?$ question......

Hey, military members and their families seem to like it o.k.

Looks too short to be a good family minivan, but Chrysler's done the long&short thing before.

I think it looks beautiful, but with hybrid drive, it'll never be a track star. Relying on batteries to power that fancy new Bilateral Torque Adjustable Control System for the SH_AWD means inconsistent driveability reliant on charge status. No thanks.

Yes, I realize it's in no way related. It was meant to be humorous....Our American Cousin....Lincoln.....

Ok, then....American step-cousin?

Our American Cousin would have no part in this!

Aaah, the return of the Detroit Auto Show. The real question, does the command center return?

Sorry, but image posting isn't working today [NIBBLES]. You'll have to post the link

Never happen. The U.S. military can't use equipment made by FoxConn, and Apple can't make things in the USA. It goes against number 1 on their 5 core values

And by takes the cake, you mean body checks the cake's rightful owner, and steals the cake...

Still no reason to damage a car in their possession instead of disassembling it in a proper manor. If their really was an odor of weed, they can impound it, but it's supposed to come back to him in reasonable condition if their has been no infraction.

A smart driver would have kept the plates and traded the Beemer for a 95 civic VX.

The Kia system requires a larger battery, larger, lower friction alternator, and is limited to 2.0l. Others who have tried to make the technology widespread instead use the ignition system and variable valve timing and cam phasing, like Mazda. This adds a lot of complexity, and is certainly not something to

I don't think 80's pickups are a good starting point. Any bolt on system is going to require wiring, a starter, battery pack, and some way to charge it (unless you're going to add a 2nd, high voltage alternator). You're looking at $700 in parts alone. How many are going to do that?

Every component in your car is setup for 12V. You would have to run 2 separate voltage systems within the car, not an easy task.

If you want low wear on the starter, you need a higher voltage system - not a retro fit.
