Spot on.
Despite others’ comments concerning the left/right orientation of you or the blog, the real issue here is just honest journalism. The author tried to pass an opinion piece off as reporting by dragging in a wholly-unrelated celebrity quote.
Most of this was Disney’s fault. Scheduling Solo a mere five months after The Last Jedi was dumb
Bear in mind that unlike other smaller companies, all of their games rely heavily on licenses. Not sure what those cost, but it ain’t cheap.
To me, the brilliance of the MCU has been striking the right balance of control between studio and director. Marvel Studios has a vision, but the directors are ultimately making their films their way. (This also helps keep things fresh after 19 films by playing with genres/tone.)

Luke’s best known as the better half of the Heroes for Hire
So you introduce a kid so people can hate the show that much more?
Dark World was fine. It’s toward the bottom of my MCU list, but that’s more a commentary on the MCU than on this film.
