@super_furry: Compare the cost of making games like Bionic Commando and Dark Void to the cost of making a game like Torchlight. Now compare the size of the companies behind the games and the number of people working in each.

@PristineSneakers: NPD is completely useless as far as PC games are concerned. They only track *retail* sales, and not even global retail sales, so they're hardly a good indicator when digital distribution is completely overlooked.
The last good game Epic released on PC was UT 2K4.
@Vexorg: Well, the game is challenging, but is really fun nonetheless. The game's soundtrack is really something too.
@CCAF drlard: Well, actually you can take a dual socket LGA 1366 server motherboard, slap in a couple of six-core Xeon 5600s and you have a 12-core machine, with an additional 12 virtual cores due to HyperThreading.
@Leanid: I would have thought the USAF would have been a bit smarter to see through Sony's PR. Guess not.
@Michael Dukakis: I would... uh.. you know?... Check that there is some TP BEFORE I start doing my business?
@gsilverfish: It's the national costume for men in the Gulf countries.
@CamRaiD: Well, most games do have a walk-mode, too, but I see what you're saying.
@unknownsock: @curly haired boy: I don't disagree with that at all.
@McGreed: Oh, I definitely agree here! KB/M is the best for FPS, RTS and MMO titles, but then there are other genres, such as platformers, racers, fighters, or even third person shooters (and despite those being shooters, they're not always entirely best-suited for KB/M IMO) that are better played with another form of…
@Deanb: "Fuck the KB/M purists"
@-MasterDex-: Don't want to give anyone false hope, but you never know. Maybe if it turns out that Microsoft does not own the rights to Alan Wake, and this just turns out to be a timed exclusive kept hush-hush... maybe we'll end up with a PC version some time in the future.
@cfive3: Do it!
@Decoy_Doctorpus: How dare he introduce sound reason into this subject?! (
@curly haired boy: Honestly, it depends on the experience those 10 hour games offer.
@Full_Circle: Yes, and I finished the game about a month or so ago.
@Rei7: Not really. You still get much higher resolutions, much better framerates and a whole lot of extra AA and AF. That makes a difference even if the control device you're using is also used on a console (i.e gamepad).
@Full_Circle: I'm not sure what game those lots of people were playing, but having played over 85 hours of the PC version, I haven't had problems or bugs.
@geiko: Yes of course! Just make sure to have a GFWL account assigned to a supported country so you don't get blocked from MP and you're good to go.
