No allocation needed unless the car itself its in high demand (M2, M4 GTS, etc). As far as individual colors, there are some forms to fill out which then need to be sent to the manufacturer to see if they can be approved. We ordered an M4 in Ferrari Red not too long ago.
Oh there’s still plenty of shitboxes to do this sort of stuff to. But I still like to say how stupid and shortsighted cash for clunkers was any chance I get to so thanks for bringing it up so I can insult it.

I too bought a new SS this month! It’s phantom black w/ a manual. It has both options. For those who don’t know, those are a sunroof and a full size spare.

Unfortunately, that rebate was only through the 13th. I got me one too, for a steal, as the dealer knocked another 5% off for me. It was a great deal, but I don’t think it’ll be happening again, at least not for a while.
