Obviously she was sponsored by some asshole, but I wonder what HER answer would be for “why are you here?” She is a horror.

I’m so amazed at how many people LOVED this movie. Because I wanted so bad to love this movie but in the end I was kind of ... eh. First of all, I’ve seen Splash, so I kind of knew how it was going to end, but as we went along I felt like it was a good idea for a story that was completely rushed and underdeveloped.
Six degrees of separation. I’m currently in rehearsal for a show with a man who...knows this woman quite intimately. BECAUSE SHE HID IN HIS ATTIC FOR TWO WEEKS...she lived up there and would come down after everyone went to work/school and go about her day then sneak back up to the attic before everyone came home.
I’m very excited. He’s in a movie called Ophelia that premiered at Sundance...basically Hamlet told from Ophelia’s perspective. Daisy Ridley and Naomi Watts and George MacKay. It got super mixed reviews at the premiere but I can’t WAIT to see it.
I’m 45, almost dead apparently, and I think everyone in this shitshow comes out looking terrible; but it’s also incredibly disingenuous to frame her request as being for a legitimate business deal. She’s a beauty blogger. I did a quick perusal of her instagram and youtube and I don’t see a whole shitload of…
He looked so nice the rest of the week though...why does he do this to me?
Except it’s not only for performing gender reassignment. It gives them the freedom to refuse ANY treatment to a transperson. Need a tetanus shot? Broke your leg? Have cancer? You’re out of luck.
My parents’ church donated all of their December collections towards rebuilding homes in Puerto Rico.
What’s it to you if he does? Do you ask Native Americans or Hindus if they really believe that the world is carried on the back of a turtle? Do you understand the purpose of illustrative myth? And even if he does believe every word of the Bible is sacred and true, how does one’s personal faith (when he’s already said…
No Shit. I’m 45 now. When I was five I ate a handful of gravel, do you want to challenge me to look at that in a different light too? Your assumption that I haven’t grown or changed since I was fucking 20 is beautiful and extremely condescending. Enjoy your stay here.
I...I’m not sure that I said I chose her as my feminist leadership. I was 20 and certainly not as “woke” as I am now and I thought she was gorgeous and I mistook outspoken and openly sexual for strength. I also didn’t say that I felt my emulation of her was a GOOD idea, only admitted that I did it, probably more so to…
Yeah, that sounds fun and probably more conducive to a friendly environment. The accounting department probably had five temps for every full time employee (most of them only lasted a few weeks) I remember that i took my own personal time to draw up a quick “how to do write offs” tutorial to give to all the new temps…
Jesus. You scared me. I thought you had a picture of me when I was Catherine Tramell for Halloween that year.
I was, 20 when Basic Instinct came out, and as an aspiring writer and insane theatre major I pretty much wanted TO BE HER in that movie. Her sass, her clothes, her sexy smoking. I sort of adopted that persona for a while, (without the murder), but it’s very tiring. I’m too lazy to be a sex bomb.
I think he probably felt he had to do something precisely because of articles and threads like this one, filled with people who simply will not accept that people make mistakes and missteps and assume every apology is forced or fake. When he was asked about Allen last week his answers weren’t satisfactory and if he’d…
I worked in accounting writing off all the refunds they gave out. ;) Or maybe you were a young beautiful 2o something that fit their ‘fun vibe’ (which was what they told us were the qualifications when we attempted to apply for full time jobs) :D I’m sure some people there had a blast. (I could certainly tell that…
Oh for sure! When I was temping I was definitely aware of things like that and I was told in several places that there were things we couldn’t be a part of, but the tone at Groupon was definitely “We’re the cool kids and you’re not...we’re the REAL employees and you’re not welcome”. Just another example of their lack…
