I can see the Queen now, shaking her head sadly and saying, "This is why we can't have nice things."

It has always been a poorly written show for the most part, and got worse as time went on. It currently gets by, barely, on the bantery relationship between Castle and Beckett, so I wish them good luck with that!

JAG used to change out its lead female character pretty much annually. Now that I think of it, NCIS has changed out its lead female character on a regular basis, too: Kate to Ziva to whatever the current blonde agent's name is.

I was aware of Deadpool as a character but had never actually read the comics, but when I saw the trailers, I was immediately on-board for this movie. Frankly, I was surprised it was debuting in February (where the crap movies get dumped), ad it seemed to me that it was going to be a huge hit.

I wish he'd buy some art lessons.

Not "capeesh"? Maybe that's just the Brooklyn spelling.

I am older than you and with you on the sobbing, my sister. Let's learn from our mistakes (but keep flying that freak flag!)

I genuinely do not understand why people don't just… GOOGLE STUFF. I googled OTP just to see what I'd get, and the correct Urban Dictionary description popped up. It would take less time to google it than typing a comment and posting it in hopes someone would tell you!

I kind of love how his essential personality was that of a "looker-afterer of women". Pre-vamping, he looked after his widowed mother. Then, he looked after Drusilla. He went from Drusilla to looking after Buffy and the Bit, defying his vampire nature as he did it. It really was training wheels for getting his

Not what I saw in that episode, also not how it played out on the show. Your mileage may vary and apparently does! ;)

I was in Ye Olde Star Trek fandom in the early 70s, and no, "ship" wasn't used as a verb then. But we did invent the term "Marysue" and "slash".

Buffy and Spike

It's definitely a quality vs. quantity thing. I love his "Somehow Satan Got Behind Me" from Millennium as a great "one of" episode that you don't need to watch the rest of the series to enjoy; I suggest you check it out if you haven't seen it yet.

"I'm a middle-aged man! No, no, really, I am!" (Scully didn't try to contradict his statement, but he acts as if she protested vehemently.) That was the theme of this episode. That, and all the too-familiar names on the tombstones. And I loved every minute of it. Worth the 20 year wait.

I believe he took down the ones he was getting yelled at for.

Also? This creepy old white guy who likes acting while wearing layers of makeup and a silly hat played Tonto, a performance that was cringe-tastic to say the least.

I dl'd AdblockPlus to my Galaxy Tab, but you have to go in and adjust it anew for every new wifi you happen to use, so I adjusted it once at home and left it at that. But at least it works great on my home wifi.

Like WE ALL wanted them to on Smallville.

He will always be my favorite and best Lex.

I'm guessing men write all of these shows, with *maybe* a single female writer in the mix (and they shout her ideas down or just ignore her, because they know better.)
