I find that South Park has gotten funnier and more clever since the movie, but it's mostly topical humor, so episodes from five years ago seem just as dated as the animation from it's first season.

I get the feeling between season 8 and 9, Roseanne binge-watched Absolutely Fabulous and decided to remodify herself and Jackie into Patsy and Eddie. Imagine Friends trying to become The Young Ones for their final season. It was that bad.

I always thought a better finale for Seinfeld would have been the one where Susan died.
