Well you sure sound fun!

So far I haven’t even seen mention of Barbora Skrlova; the most insane adult-posing-as-child story I’ve ever heard.

No, I’ve definitely forgotten to opt out and I wasn’t automatically sent the box set, it just put $50 towards whatever i purchased next. I think the box set is just an additional gimmick; an exclusive option that you only get a peak at if you’re a member.

I knew of at least 3 completely unrelated people with the screen name/performance name “thunderpussy” in the mid-aughts. I’m all for these women getting their bag but it’s hard for me to understand how they could trademark a term I’ve heard used for various projects/monikers for at least two decades, and surely more

Now playing

Video I HAVE actually seen though, is Johnny Depp having a violent freakout:

I don’t know; it was pretty straightforward when I signed up. I was looking at the merchandise, saw a big flashing tab that said “50% off with membership,” threw them in a shopping cart while I thought about it, and while the shopping cart showed the price with a discount, once I clicked through to checkout they were

I don’t know if I signed up at a different time and have a different type of membership, but with mine I’m not automatically sent the VIP box, but the $50 just posts to my account and I can spend it on whatever I want within the website.

Oh please. We don’t have the time for learning how to be great in the kitchen/knitting our own clothing. I know how to sew and pattern clothes from scratch, but between 12 hour shifts, I barely have time to make spaghetti, let alone making preserves! Most of the younger generation is too busy working a billion hours

This might be a dumb question, but is the Savage Fenty name being used for her LVMH line or is this a separate entity? I’m already a member of SavageX so of course I’ll be excited to see that show, as well, but I’m DYING to see her LVMH line...

It’s a matter of perspective. I don’t accept abuse either; I accept money. One is not the same as the other. I give none of my power to asshole customers even when I take their money. If you felt that way when you accepted tips, then it’s good you got out of the industry. Not everyone feels that way though. I can hate

I still work in the service industry, have done for ten years. Of course people throw tips at you and think it makes up for bad behavior. That’s how I pay my rent. Am I saying it’s okay for them to act that way? Hell no. I’m just taking my fucking dues. If I’m gonna put up with your shit, I’m sure as hell taking your

If I recall my food safety classes well enough, I’m pretty sure there has to be multiple documented cases at the same establishment before any legal action can be taken.

I was so confused when Uber went on strike, because the entire point of the app is that they can get away with underpaying their drivers by claiming the drivers aren’t really professional drivers.

You obviously don’t work for tips. Accepting a tip does not mean you’re condoning inappropriate behavior, and there’s absolutely no legal basis for your idea that doing so functions as an acknowledgment of innocence.

Every time I see a group of teenagers and their Juuls, I just shake my head and think “at least when we took up smoking, we had a good reason (it looked super cool).”

The reason you haven’t found any answers is because they don’t exist. Vaping simply hasn’t been around long enough to know about potential long-term risk OR benefit. I briefly took up vaping marijuana as a way of trying to cut back on smoke inhalation, but after a few weeks of it, decided to go back to the old ways

I’m so tired of people conflating depression with sadness/grief, and hearing that people suffering from depression are just trying to escape bad feelings.

Remember when Radiohead sued Lana Del Rey for copying “Creep,” which Radiohead had ALREADY been (successfully) sued for copying from The Hollies? How is that even allowed?

“What I might find repulsive in another man—an obsession with younger women—I find endearing in Leonard Cohen, probably because he writes desire better than anyone.”

One of those accounts is a thirdhand account from someone who wasn’t there, and the other may have been 14 but Bowie would have been 16 at the time, so...
