Where's the NCAA profit? it's not like that fine is going straight to NCAA bank accounts. It's going to an endowment to help victims of sexual abuse.

The Blackhawks shouldn't be surprised that a 23 year old guy with tons of money is acting like a complete idiot during the off-season. It's a non-issue. As long as he keeps doing his job and doing it well, people should care a lot less. Eventually he'll get to a point where he embarrasses himself one too many times

If they put the app on sale while they knew they were going to be selling to Google that would be pretty shitty.

You know, it seems like the right thing to do would be to offer people refunds or credit of some sort—at least to people that purchased within the past couple weeks.

It's not necessarily that I think things are always better if they involve more money, and I absolutely agree that there are more important things to a lot of people than money, but what I'm saying is i find it hard to hold it against people (bands, actors, developers) that take the option of cashing out on something

You're pointing out that it was not sent out by an automated system, which fine, but you should really be emphasizing that it was sent out by someone that had no freaking clue what was going on in Colorado when he sent it out.

Yeah, I have to apologize for apparently speaking without all of the information. I didn't realize this was a situation where they explicitly stated new features were incoming. I'd be angry too. My bad.

I'm sorry, I just don't see how it's irresponsible to accept an offer to buy a company. You got the app you paid for, they said they'd provide some level of support...they just won't be adding new features. I don't understand your claim of irresponsibility.

You can disable automatic posts but if it's something that they do every day it's possible nobody thought about it until someone checked the Twitter feed and went, "Oh shit!"

"Selling out" is also known as "taking an offer to make more money and have better financial security." It's almost always viewed as negative by fans, but it usually makes a LOT of sense for the people doing the "selling out".

After the story I saw on CNN about guys who volunteered to test new military equipment and were then exposed to the testing of things like LSD and chemical nerve agents I'm going to go with voluntold.

Yep, I totally screwed the pooch on that one. I read that during a post-lunch falling-asleep-at-my-desk moment.

Sprint people don't need to be grandfathered in to unlimited plans. They are available to everyone on Sprint.

An alarm or a call to the cops would be very stupid. Locking the glasses until a password is entered would make a lot of sense, though.

I mean, it depends on how young we're talking, here. "Need" to be hidden and "I don't want my dad to know what porn I look at as a 16 year old boy" are two different things. I haven't decided how I'm going to handle that yet with my sons. Luckily my little dude is still 6 weeks away from being born, so I have time.

The students should be so pissed off at what Joe Paterno did they pull the damned thing down Saddam Hussein statue style. It won't happen because they're a bunch of freakin' lemmings, but oh how I would love to see it happen.

You'd have to wait for a developer to port any future AOSP (the source code for Android from Google) updates to the device. Whether or not that happens depends on whether or not a developer decides to give it a try.

/Scrolls up and checks to see how close they came to an actual nipslip.

Why—oh my god why— did you capitalize every single work in your comment?

When you only have a few pieces of fruit this bowl will keep it elevated and on display.
