Don't forget that between 1980 and 1989, only 2 teams from the West and 3 teams from the East went to the Finals.
Of course the game has changed since the 90s, it's always changing. It's always changing. Also, the SAME teams have always been going to the Finals over and over. Between 1957 and 1969, the Celtics went to the Finals 12 times and won 11, including 8 in a row. They also only played against 3 different teams in those 13…

In most states, if you get convicted of a DUI, you're banned from drinking alcohol by the state. Alcohol is legal to drink as long as you don't fuck up.
I think it goes towards what Barry said, "Quarterbacks are understandably particular about the feel of their footballs, and teams seem to have an unspoken agreement to respect each other's freedom to squeeze and scuff and shine their own balls to their preference, as long as it stays within the bounds of decency.…
Is this the same type of rehab, where a celebrity does/says something stupid while apparently sober then goes to rehab to treat whatever the problem was?
It seems that the people most upset by change in sports and the loss of "tradition" are the ones who will suffer the greatest financial loss due to the change and their sportswriter propaganda flunkies.
