Great reminder that Nora was into Spencer Young, and then they completely dropped any references to / follow-up on her sexuality or romantic life...

Look up his Mamma Mia audition sometime.

And a stand-up comedian. And the host of a late-night talk show (that got cancelled). And the star of an HBO show. Would you call Conan a podcaster? Plus, they had an episode with Marc Maron just last season.

His Comedy Central show was good before quarantine-times. Mostly because of the panels and not him, but he gave some airtime to some newer comics that I thought were pretty funny.

Beck is in LA with his wife, who’s on the terrible new sitcom Indebted.

I have a friend who is way too cool for school when it comes to SNL. He believes it was never that funny, looks down on people who like it, etc. ... except What up with That. He LOVES that sketch.

Well, the co-creators of Modern Family hate each other and traded off being in charge every other episode. Notice in the documentary that the two of them were never on screen at the same time. That has to cause strains on a show.

And they ramped it up! As the character entered high school and then college, he got more and more pretentious with absolutely no reason for him to be that way (other than the undying support of his mom?)

Luke got weird. They were still hinting at him being gay this season! At least twice! And in between he dated a 50-year-old woman.

As did all of their friends. When they got together with the other middle-aged gays, it was just a bitchfest.

You can tell how long a successful sitcom’s been on the air by the haircuts. Once the cast all have $1000 haircuts, the sitcom is ready to be cancelled.

Maybe Alex’s secret kink is being blackmailed. Luke’s into women his mom’s age, so anything can happen...

Agreed. What a waste of Jon Daly...

Six episodes never aired... Come on, NBC, you’ve got time to fill because of quarantines, let’s see the rest of Conrad Bloom! And Paula Pell’s show Thick and Thin (which also starred Parnell): they made six episodes in 2005 or ‘06 and never aired any of them.

Some people get super-speed, some get the power to make their pants disappear. It’s a real crapshoot.

I got one of those a few weeks ago. My favorite part: the e-mail signed off with “Don’t forget about the shame!”

She graduated high school at the end of Season 6 and started college in Season 7, so yeah, 4 years. It just seemed like less because the show’s been treading water all that time.

Taran Killam’s deep blandness in Single Parents (and movies like Brother Nature) is crazy, because he had such energy, spark, and physical comedy on SNL!

Each of the kid actors skipped several episodes during the last season; Manny and Haley were both gone for long stretches, too. I assume it was a cost-cutting measure.

It fits with continuity. Who else would she have been with, Artie Ziff?
