Weirdly, I think I enjoyed mixed-ish the most on a consistent basis. Black-ish could be great, but could also be incredibly boring (oh no, Dre is upset about something and now there’s a five-minute scene where he vents to his co-workers!). I couldn’t get into grown-ish at all.

Is Michael Chabon involved with this? Because this is veering fairly close to the plot of Moonglow.

So, since the Will Ferrell breakup, he has one hit and two indifferently-received films, and Apple has already passed. He has a cast, but no studio to bankroll it. Who wants to take odds on whether or not this actually films?

I believe Esme and Roy airs occasionally on PBS Kids (at least it did several months ago). And I can confirm Gordita Chronicles is still available to stream on American flights, because I watched a couple of episodes last week.

I know it was the 90s and all, but Jewel made $100 million?!? That seems like an absurdly high number for someone who has sold about 30 million albums worldwide (according to wikipedia) and was never a huge, stadium-filling touring draw.

It is interesting that neither Orlando Bloom nor Keira Knightley ended up as A-listers after the Pirates movies. They’ve both had fine careers, don’t get me wrong, but having their names on a film doesn’t equate to big box office by any means.

Could be worse; if anything, Chris Martin’s ego is more fragile than Bono, which is why he’s collaborating with Chainsmokers and Selena Gomez and BTS and generally acting like your uncle who jokes a little too hard about hanging out at your parties.
