Hello from the future, where I’m finally getting around to watching this show. My impression of Season 1 was that the monster ate Barb, but used Will to incubate... something. It’s possible Will was so sick by the time the monster found him that he wasn’t good eatin’ anymore.

I was at Saturday’s show (Chappelle was not there), and Mulaney appeared on edge. Somebody yelled about his dog and he got visibly irritated. A 10-year-old kid was sitting front-row, and he seemed to abandon a couple of bits because of that. Then the show ended pretty abruptly. We were back at our cars by 9 p.m.
