This was the real heart-breaking scene IMO. I loved that their friendship became something genuine, even with Philip telling Stan to take care of Henry and that Henry loved him...I was crying real tears! Noah Emmerich can also get it!

It is (was *sob*) such a fantastic show. This whole season was like one tense muscle. I was made that Handmaid’s Tale won all the awards last year and I will be furious if The American’s are shut out for their final season.

I’ve always wondered why The Americans haven’t generated the talk buzz like other big name shows. This show is truly amazing, and if you haven’t watched it yet, this is the perfect time to go through it.

I watched that episode of Documentary Now with friends who had never seen Grey Gardens. I was dying, and while they thought it was funny, they could not believe it when I summarized Grey Gardens for them. They were blown away that a Bouvier would ever find themselves in that situation.
