The "who knew" is meant to implie sarcasm, I believe. TLDR of it is if you say dumb stuff you're rightly going to be cancelled.

I remember a while back (i think on lifehacker) someone mentioned using a water gun (like a super-soaker) with a mixture of vinegar, water and something else to clean outside windows. you didn't even have to wipe. they made a game of it for their kids to hit the upstairs windows. If anyone remembers the recipe please

It was a bit dickish. That being said it certainly illustrates what I expect the general audience felt like. Having to ask for applause and such. I actually said out loud "Oh no," when I read that. Being objective on reviews and product announcements are always a plus, but getting the feel of what it's like being

Nice. hadn't seen that yet.

@isochronos, you can use the iphone on t-mobile, 3g is the only thing that doesn't work due to different bands being used for tmob's 3g. that being said, for whatever reason t-mobile's edge speed always seems to be faster than at&t's.

But it won't. That money will go directly to Deutsche Telekom who has flat out stated they want no part of U.S. wireless and will not be putting money into them. It sucks more for T-mobile than anyone in this because they haven't been fully marketing against AT&T and it continues to put T-mobile employees in a "well,

Pretty sure one of them is actually TDMA (sprint also still uses that terrible nextel band occasionally).

agree.

@Anthony Magalhães: technically, for the iphone 2g (original phone) it was $20. it was the only "smart" phone in their line up that had a data plan below $30. But, also remember, prior to their debut of the $30 plan there was a $45 plan. it cost you $45 to have a blackberry on their network. Heck, i may be wrong, but

@Hello! My name is Anonymous: liked it until the star wars references. it's not bad, but felt you had something better going. dah well.

@Star Vixen: ha, it's true. my uverse guy was a jerk but i asked anyway. he gave them but then told me "just so you know they're cheap, you'll want to get more expensive ones." they work great.

@thracianii: i'm the same, but some build home entertainment cabinets/centers that are down stairs with tv upstairs. those cables need to be long, they then use an IF (or is it IR?) remote to go through the floor. generally it's just because people like a tv by itself (like a picture frame) with the electronics hidden.

@CrispyAardvark: (Geek comment) in the expanded universe of books, think it was called "I, Jedi," the character had to press the button to turn on and double tap to turn off. kind of a reverse safety (the thought being he didn't want it to turn off during a fight because he hit the button). i'm assuming if jedi are

@Victorioso: it's not hard. the selector tool gives you dimensions as you create a square to cut. took me maybe a half hour. would take the same or less with anyone else i'm sure. you just have to use your noggin. (hardest part was realizing you needed to add the pictures backwards in the album, last picture first).

@artistpavel: i really wish i could promote your comment. or hit a "like" button.

@gemcosta: maybe they only review (purchase) that which they'll like anyway.

@trs: totally made me think of Scanners, the movie. nothing romantic whatsoever about people brutally and graphically killing one another with their minds, but there you go.

@Antubis: only illustrates how bad a simile it is.

wow. your attempt at humor using similes is pretty heavy handed. subtle is often better. you know, it's like refined wine instead of diarrhea.
