Which makes it even more funny that King’s MMQB column today has him outraged at Carter’s comments. It’s easy to be outraged now when someone else did the dirty work of getting this out into the public consciousness.

MMQB is the propaganda arm of the NFL. Report their bullshit, show some faux outrage when it burns you to try and trick the reader into thinking you have a shred of journalistic integrity. The objective of gaining access is not to gain more access; it is not an objective in and of itself. What good is gaining access if you’re not going to use it for telling a worthwhile story?
