“Deenie” — so good. I have scoliosis so it was really comforting to me when I was younger.

well, I was using the same book my sister had growing up. (It had a different cover than my copy!) I doubt they have updated them. The hardest part was explaining the belts! I was like: yeah, this was weird when I read the books too, but you used to blah blah blah and even when I was young, the pads were *this* thick

I read my daughter Are You There God to jump start talking about boobs, periods, and boys... easier to get into the conversation which would embarrass her so much...and I didn’t feel like I was lecturing her.

I’m confused about this sentence... “T.I., a person whose own hip-hop relationship with Xscape’s Tameka “Tiny” Cottle is so fealty and steadfast they’ve almost graduated to Ice-T/Coco territory, may have exacerbated this point later in the piece...”

I feel like it should be said that, at least in my opinion, judging someone’s relationship status by if they wear a ring or not is a very outdated and old-fashioned idea. I know people that are married and don’t wear rings and people that aren’t married but wear “promise” rings. I just feel like the role of “the ring”

I mean... good riddance? That ring was tacky as hell. I feel like the only time I ever didn’t mind Carrie being obnoxious on SATC was when she discovered Aidan’s ugly ring and was upset about it. I love you , but I’m not wearing ugly jewelry for the rest of my life babe. Nicki, you dodged a bullet girl. Come home to

IM RDY LETS DO THIS (says someone who has been on/off depression meds for about 10 years)

but she’s in love, girl.

Most orthodox women are not spending 4000-7000 on a dress. The vast majority of orthodox women are getting gowns through community gemachs. A gemach is a free or low cost rental ($250). Most modest gowns are easily modified and rebuilt. In communities where there sometimes 3 or 4 weddings a nights within the

Can y’all please stop hating on the underage Smith kids? Just let it go, really...I’m sure they will still be doing things you hate in a few years when they are adults. But right now, they are teenagers who should be allowed to do stupid shit without the spotlight of the media on them.

Reasons my son is crying, I bet. It’s great. :)

Two episodes left, I’m braced for the cliffhanger. You should see the couch cushion fort I’ve built.

Welcome to the world of watchers

I’ll admit, I sobbed when my ex got engaged...but that was because him getting engaged was how he dumped me.

Ok so this isn’t exactly on topic but it wasn’t my EX that freaked out it was my family that freaked out and is still in the process of freaking out about. They freaked out because my fiancé had the gaul to be both brown and a Muslim which really sent them over the edge.

I can’t help but think that the angry folks criticizing ESPN for giving Jenner the Arthur Ashe Award are the same ones who would have criticized ESPN for naming an award after Arthus Ashe in the first place.

I thought this one was pretty good.

Pretty shitty of people to use an amputee veteran as a thin veil for their transphobia
