My sweet baby boy used to get between me and my mom. He hated her for some reason. He knew things I didn’t. I miss him terribly.

The family acquired Tara when the cat followed the parents home while they were walking back from a park. At the time, the woman was pregnant with Jeremy and when the baby was born the cat became very protective. Tara the hero cat was my favorite viral video of the year.

Sucks she wouldn’t do an interview. This probably didn’t help!

And only typically gets trotted out for white people - usually men.

When I was a kid, we had a black cat named Pud who would follow my sister and I on our Girl Scout cookie route. Little boys down the block thought we were witches. Pud was also BFFs with our neighbor’s dachsund.

I’m sorry, but I am NOT sad to see an aggressive dog put down when there are so many non-aggressive animals up for adoption and euthanized. Putting this dog down was the right thing to do.

As for why the dog was aggressive, I don’t much care about the details. The child could have been hurt, even killed, if that cat

Attempting to coerce a person into an abortion is universally wrong.

Well done Emma Quangel, calling out Jezebel on their hypocrisy.

Such a good story - people who aren’t cat owners/close to their cats don’t realize how protective and territorial cats can be of their people.

I thought of this story in the fall when I had an incident with my 2 cats. The older one (5 years) tolerates the younger one (3 years) but doesn’t like her very much. She

The original communist theorists argued that race was a social construction used to exploit the periphery, and that human progress could only be possible if distinctions based on race (or gender, or ethnic background) were erased. All governments that adopted it were of course racist (and sexist and elitist) as fuck,

Because mental illness is not learned like hatred and racism, and unfortunately for those with mental illness, it cannot be unlearned - hatred and racism can be if the person is willing to open their mind. People with mental illnesses are far more likely to be the victim of crimes than the perpetrators. Labeling hate

I said it when this first happened. Right wing media are complicit. All their fear mongering and “you have to fight for this country! The takers are everywhere!” Using dog whistle racism to get these people all riled up, and look what happened. This isn’t the first time, hopefully it will be the last, but only if the

I’m with you on this!

As a mentally ill person I want to bake this woman an amazing cake. This man is not mentally ill, and that would just be a way for Fox and even progressive outlets to ignore the changes and evolution that has occurred in American racism.

Yep, and it’s such a throwaway for any time a woman dares to lay down expectations for a man. As in, since we are in a relationship, when I text you, I expect a response within a reasonable timeframe. Asshole guy’s response: geez, back up with your clingy shit—what, do you have daddy issues?!?

Saying a woman or girl has “daddy issues” is fucking wretched. If she has daddy issues, shouldn’t the hate be directed at, you know, her god damned father? How is his disgusting and damaging fuckery her fault?

You’re wrong... in a study of 160 active shootings from 2000-2013 the FBI concluded:

I had similar thoughts. I appreciate that he looks sort of normal (for a 14-year-old boy). Maybe she isn’t such a terrible mother. (Or is that going too far?)

God, this would be the worst thing about being a celebrity’s kid. Being 14 is awkward as HELL. For everyone. And then you get all these paparazzi up in your face taking pictures of your pubescent hell.

He’s kind of got the awkwardness of a 14 year old...combined with the fashion sense of my father-in-law.
