I'm sorry to hear that (about the eggplant).  I was hoping it would turn out for selfish reasons; my mother-in-law makes this steamed, stuffed-with-wild-rice gourd thing for my wife and I (vegetarians) every year, and while I appreciate the effort, I'm getting tired of it's incredibly bland flavor.

Congratulations on the potential position!  I'm sorry that health insurance is what's holding you back, another year and a bit and the exchange market could have possibly helped you there.  Good luck, either way you decide it!
