January 6 in one line.

Since the comments keep coming, just want to let you all know that I edited this piece, including the headline. I, like all the others Kotaku editors, are the final call on what gets published, and sometimes we get things wrong. But this is not one of those times.

Thank you so much for recognizing that. I thank my father for giving me my own set of tools (so I would stop taking his) at a young age and my mother for acknowledging and always encouraging me. I credit the University of Michigan (B.S.E.E.E) for allowing me to find my own path, Michigan State University (M.S.E.E)

It’s almost like her race is part of who she is as a person and affects how she exists in the world. Wild.

Y’all, let Black women write about Black women the way they want to see Black women be written about. Jesus Christ.

Ash, I understand that I’m just a stranger on the internet and this will be an absurdly long comment and you may skip it, it’s fine, I won’t be offended.

Water is wet is usually to mean stating the obvious. Dunno if you know (or even read the blog) but a Black woman getting world records for her video game collection isn’t an obvious thing.

What's the problem here? They didn't have stock available for everyone, so they chose a method that rewarded their customers and probably also cut down on scalping. They probably got more consoles in the hands of gamers who actually wanted them than went to people who just want to flip them.

That really isn't the point, people shouldn't have to platform hop to enjoy the game.

It’s just the same dude 350,000 times.

These people must have literally nothing to do if they can’t fathom doing anything else but this garbage.

You know, I thought fandom’s lowest point was the 90s and early 2000s, when the speculator boom had grown men punching kids to make sure they got ALL the Jar-Jar Binks dolls and people insisted X-Force #1 was still worth something.

I never thought that shit would become acceptable, forget routine.

Moving is stressful enough and now you have to leave the country and assume a new identity. Thoughts and Prayers.

I support IGN’s listing of charities for Palestinian casualties. However, I think it’s important to note that Hamas rockets have killed a dozen people in Israel, including two children, and those casualties are also deserving of support. This should have mentioned as well in IGN’s article. Yes, I’m fully aware that

Just cursory research on this showed that it was not so cut and dry. The region of Palestine was basically being occupied by the British prior to WW2. And the Jewish/Arab conflict existed long before Nazi Germany. I’m not surprised they were favorable to a nation that was fighting both the British and was anti-Jew.

Depends on the article. If it was stated to be an editorial and or an opinion piece than yes, the writers should have been protected ethically. If they listed it as news and then made a huge opinion piece, then they are not. I don’t like it when Fox news is like 80% opinion masquerading as news except when they get

lol yeah give your support uncritically to the side that waves nazi flags and executes homosexuals

I haven’t gotten very far into RE8 (just properly started the castle), but I *just* completed 7 and it does feel like a continuation.

I finally played RE7 when I got it free with PS5 Plus Collection, and it was infinitely better than the trash heap that is RE6. I did the main story and Not a Hero straight through, then came back to End of Zoe the night before RE8 came out just to get back into the story because it was so good. RE7 is way scarier, in

I got lost several times in the factory, even with using the maps. It didn’t help those enemies would randomly pop up that have just the one weak spot.
