Now playing

Using it is really not that impressive. Loads of us played. They were more a matter of simple timing than strategy. Even the football one really had only so many plays in the memory to learn how to beat. Today’s games are much harder to play. But that was all we had. Had a lot of fun hours on those.

I knew when she said she took it apart and fixed a system that she has...the knack. Electrical engineer is one of the hardest engineering disciplines there is so she has it in spades.

I just heard Winston Churchill in my head solemnly stating “We shall fight them on the beaches, we shall fight them for the Pokemon gym.... “.

I agree.  I got my next gen consoles via gamefly, which did the same by restricting to subscribers.

I’m all for inclusiveness. But please remember the focus here is video games. I thoroughly enjoy and/or appreciate articles about, for example, minority developers or reporting on harassment or the state of minorities when it comes to video games.

I had one bug where it crashed me. I enjoyed th game.  Especially the humor.

I just finished the game on PS5 (I got lucky and scored a console) yesterday. It still crashed an average of once every 6 hours or so. Not game breaking but annoying. It’s so sad because otherwise it’s a masterpiece. I thoroughly got immersed in the world, characters and story.  But the bugs are gonk, choom.

I thought the same.  Some people just dont take being told to leave.

Not an ounce of sense  or shame among them.  This is why I avoid Black Friday sales. Not worth it

You can do it!

All of which only means you get corporate and management buy in even more. Look at CNN, just for exsmple. They’ve a page with links to neutral organization s and to relief agencies. They didn’t throw a flag up. In a worldwide organization. On a very controversial issue.

Poor Chris.  I mean, I don't disagree.  He's always been someehat...dull...compared to the others.

Oh good god. I’m hardly against independent journalism. IGN USA went so far out of their lane they’re not only in another highway but another state.

A large part of the problem is, as noted, that this is such as long term conflict. Oh, they’re at it again. Well, it is Tuesday. There is a fatigue involved in any kind of long term crisis and this has been going on for decades and decades.

It won’t.

Bless your heart.

It’s called dropping the company into the soup without clearing it with them first. Most places that will get you fired.

My arcade days were in the US, not Japan, and in the early 1980s . What strikes me is the starkly bare cabinets and the differences between the sounds. No classic Ms. Pac Man sounds. Wakka wakka wakka wakka alone is missing.

Given their main mission, getting the support of management prior to leaping feet first into any issue bound to cause controversy like this one would’ve been the prudent move. The parent company feels the effects of such decisions and therefore their input and support prior to publishing is vital.

We’ve been talking about it since before my mother was born. Oh, there have been periods of peace. But it never has stuck.
