It probably has to do with the “losing money” part. I wonder if other manufacturers will follow suit, leading to a shortage of sedans in the US market, which will drive prices up and make them profitable again.

Mazda6 - $21,950, 42.2 / 38.7 legroom, 26/35mpg

No more Fusion, Focus, Fiesta...the root of the problem is that Ford is simply running out of Fs to give.

Feels like they’re setting themselves up for getting killed in the next recession if they don’t at least maintain the ability to quickly respond and bring them back into the market.

all the power is after 6000RPM that is what makes it such a fun car to drive because you can stay mannered under 6k RPMs and get 30+ MPGs or you can have a blast and be aggressive over 6k RPMs get 18 MPGs

Former owner and founding member of S2Ki.com here: I respectfully disagree, you just have to drive the S2K like you stole it, which is the ONLY way to drive an S2000.

Maybe he flinched upon seeing the motorcycle?

I’ve let people like that drive my S2000 before and it was a gross experience to be co-pilot. I felt insulted for the car, like I owed it an apology for letting them drive it. They simply couldn’t get that you didn’t have to bring the revs down as much and as soon as possible, and/or shift at 6k for fear of breaking

Nope, nope, nope. I think the S2000 has the perfect shade. Yellow is a finicky color; it has to be the right shade.

The S2000 is one of the very few cars that look splendid in yellow. I’ve never been a big fan of the S2000—the nose looks a bit long—but in yellow? I want it BADLY.

I don’t drive mine daily, but when I do, I am all smiles :)

I love these preludes. These are Good Cars. I’ll set my location to public if anyone wants to come debate this in person.

Should the Prelude come back? The Prelude should come back.

Just for having a proper handbrake, the Integra Type R wins this one.

Why can’t Hondas today have wheels like the Acura? The design is nice, simple, and clean looking.

They look fairly good, just need to nudge curves and WB a little. Check this. Probably went a little to magenta killing the greenness, but selective edit to the sky to shift back toward blue will knock that out. Cars/ground look good.

Yes, the Civic is “faster” and more “livable” with that low-end turbo torque, but it doesn’t leave you feeling anything. The Integra broke records with it’s naturally aspirated engine - if nothing else, it’s a homage to a time when Honda/Acura was at it best.

Putting those cars next to each other you realize how hideous the Civic really is. Wow!!!

One looks like JC Whitney fucked a minivan. The other is an Acura.
