16GB model will be $199 or $249 (I'm thinking the latter).

Thanks for saving me typing all this - this is EXACTLY the reason it get's spoiled in advance. I have to admit it does ruin it a little to be honest. I'd rather wait forever after an official announcement personally.

Why isn't this article just called "Your smartphone really costs $X."? Why specifically the iPhone? If I own a Samsung GS3, Lumia 920, etc., it all works out to be about the same.

As a Dyson Vacuum and MacBook Air owner, this device sounds PERFECT!

Oh come on people. It's not a big deal. The whole reason it has better low light performance is because you're not supposed to take pictures during the day... DUH! Stop taking pictures in daylight - problem fixed.

I read these comments and when did people become so fanatical about their phones as much as religion and politics? It's not enough to just choose whatever works best for you? You have to proselytize your choice of smartphone to everyone else? Instead of thinking "well, that's an objective review of the iPhone 5"

I swear when the balloon burst the face on the train looked like it became very unhappy.

Have you tried the reference number trick?

They need to time the lawsuit for 7:22 in the morning or afternoon otherwise it won't hold up in court........

Unlike other phones, the manufacturer (Apple in this case) is the purveyor of the phone at release time. Because of this I would never, ever, EVER do my pre-order through the carrier (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, etc).

Ok. Pretty much anyone who ordered their iPhone to be delivered on the 21st is going to have the same tracking information. Left China, as of 8PM Wednesday, it's in AK and will make it's way here shortly.

I'm a heavy Waze user but only when it comes to around my local city of a road trip. If I'm in need of detailed directions in an unknown area I switch over to Navigon which has been fantastic for the past few years (like using street view to show the building you're looking for)

Hell yeah - I'm glad I got the iPhone 5 on AT&T so on Friday I can surf on an over saturated HSPA+ network with a trillion other people.

I have a boxee box w/ a NAS on my network but I found the boxee interface a little clumsy for music. It is still my box of choice for streaming video from the NAS which it does an awesome job of.

This is the first year I didn't wait in line for either my iPad or iPhone.

I'd be really surprised if the RT is less than $499 and if the Pro is less than $899.

As of 0:05PST, both AT&T and Apples websites aren't serving up pre-orders yet....

I have 2 phones on the unlimited plan and I'm starting to think that the only reason I have them is because I must imagine some day I'll be able to pull some kind of "AH-HA" on AT&T.

So when Tim Cook said "we're going to double down on secrecy" - he meant that they are going to leak twice as much information?

You gotta try a Waring waffle maker - best thing I've ever owned and it has lasted forever: http://www.waringpro.com/catalog.php?pcID=143
