They should do this for charity. Give the money to a charity that gives 90% to the cause and 10% to the charity that set it up. The problems are charities are typically scams and only give 20% to the cause and usually pocket 80%. This is how greed works in america and giving to charities usually doesn’t help

It’s unclear why they refunded?  I think I can clear this up.  They did it... for the lulz.

Rocket scientists make 60-140k typically a year. Enough for a small apartment in California. I know musk gave out 80k bonuses for the last successful landing to everyone who worked on the engine which was generous but you would think they would be pulling in atleast 300-500k a year. The typical salary at NASA for a

Making funny videos doesn’t really prepare you for much of anything.  I feel like we are gonna start seeing depressing stories of these YouTube famous people as they start hitting their 40s and are washed up and broke.

Musk is Muskrat. To think I actually thought this guy was trying to make this a better world like 10 years ago. What a joke.

I feel like we are getting closer to a Wall-E future everyday. Just give me a Mobility scooter with a 32" Screen above the steering bars with a Camera in front that also allows the screen to be used as a realtime forward looking display and a built in shitter hole in the seat that opens up when I need to use it and I

The US tries to enforce the belief that they leave no one behind. Truth is unless your rich or famous they don’t seem to give a shit. If you got star power or money they will do whatever they have to.

Here is a better question - Why are we sending anything at all? 5 people, 3 of them billionaires decided to do something insanely stupid and now we will spend millions of dollars looking for them, and risking other peoples lives. It sucks, but we shouldnt be financing the rescue of people that do insanely dumb shit

Well first thing I see wrong is they used a knockoff ps controller. I’m guessing most their parts were not the highest of quality.

You’re speaking about systemic racism and the variation of pay in different areas where one race is more prominent, which I agree exists but I am talking about something that effects all races middle class and below. In California if you make 45k or less you are likely living in your car or have a bunch of roommates

Au contraire mon frère. Many studies of rural areas have shown that there is a racial component as I illustrated for certain sections of the country. Feel free to ask The Google.

First off: “The American Dream” is such a loose term that it has been entirely seen as economic and not because of human rights. As people became more socially aware via social media and etc and not just legislation, the more the feeling sinks that they of the majority working class has been played and abused for

This is 100% the reason, end stage capitalism is going to kill us all.

And ironically, those hit hardest in Appalachia are the same ones voting for the source of the disparity. Indoctrination is a bitch, especially when one has little contact with those outside their bubble.

It’s the death of the American Dream. The majority of people in the world and America now realize they will never own a home or be able to afford to retire, where the thought of even having a family is out of the question. Raises used to allow people to afford homes and provide well for their family. Now many raises

Head honchos at companies just need to pay more to writers and other hard working staff rather than giving themselves 50 million dollar raises. It’s that simple. Rich keep getting richer and middle class and poor just keep ending up poorer. All these higherups making money off the backs of cheap labor. Morality at

I wonder how many people with the same name can now sue. Maybe they should start a class action lawsuit. With such a common name this is ridiculous. If someone is publishing false stories they should be sued but this is not ChatGPT’s fault. They have documentation that says warns that all the info presented is not

Now that they can open doors, there’s nowhere to run. Best not antagonize it.

I think people were still hoping for a better value than 3500k for the lowest priced version. For the top tier model now you are probably looking at 4500k. The other problem is the sweat and having that thing on your face all day will probably require you to get extra face covers or straps, which they will most likely

I can’t help but wonder if some of the output from this is “computational photography” like the magically reconstructed moon images that were coming out of the Samsung Galaxy phones.  It’s no surprise what any of these deep space objects look like, so with no eyepiece on the telescope, why not just do the same thing?
