I’ve gotten some and they snap and articulate well but are still very cheap feeling plastic. They have no heft to them and again everything is 3d printed cheap colors instead of painted or diecast.

One thing in the 80s they did was actually paint parts. Now they 3d print cheap plastic colored parts and it is in some bright color and things just look like toys. The diecast of the 80s was the best. 

Transformers now are so much cheaper quality than the ones from the 80s.
