“I want to buy a new Jetta.”

Knowing you’ll probably never be able to afford your dream car 😔

Try taking it across a high and long suspension bridge with cross winds over 40mph. If you can get to the other side without losing 5 lbs in sweat and piss you are fearless or insane.

I cannot wait to hear the brake story. I hope it’s not something boring like seized cylinders. Looking forward to something along the lines of “...it appears the rear brake lines were never installed at the factory.”

isnt that one of the schools in the harry potter series?

Front end was contained and yet the back still went for the nearest grouping of bystanders

Thank you. I’m not going to restrict myself because some asshole is chilling in the left lane.

It’s always been my understanding that “passing on the right” involves moving from the lane you are in to the lane immediately to the right, then passing, then sliding back left a lane. This guy was just going faster in the middle lane than someone in the left lane. Happens all the time here in Orlando when rental

To be completely fair, you can go to hell with the other left lane cruisers

BRZ was driving in the right, Camry shouldn’t have been travelling in the left.

Ah. Couldn’t tell, my mistake. Chalk that up to the constant state of unintentional obtuseness that frames my existence.

Except when you live an area that salts the roads. Then its Honda. Hatchbacks. FOREVER*

*or 150k miles, whichever comes first

“Properly” “working” “Yugo”

It is a properly working Yugo.

$1500? Man, your coworkers got ripped off.

I’m guessing it’s a manual choke.

Right, all gas station nozzles fit into every current car. Could you imagine if you stopped for gas at a station and none of the nozzles would fit into your tank?

Why can’t there be a standard for chargers? If electric cars are truly going to be adopted we need to get away from the proprietary charging technology and make it universal.

the clerks at car parts store can provide great firsthand advice

As a rule I’ve found that the more “enthusiast” a car is the more properly the pedals are spaced for this. When it comes to a modern car a hot hatch or something may not be great, but a dedicated sports car will be spaced a little better.
