The problem is hockey isn't nearly as great on television as it is in person. It's the opposite of football (which is great for TV and not really that great in person).

On the other hand, I am Lutheran, and I'm not sure I would have gotten it. None of the various Lutheran synods I know of (Missouri, Wisconsin, some of the larger synods that formed ELCA) are named after the Dakotas or Minnesota.
