Thanks - and know you aren’t alone, either. I have never wanted kids, so, I, too, just want the cursed organ gone! I am a bit freaked out about still having cycles without bleeding AND even more freaked out that there is a disease process on the loose in our bodies and western medicine not only hasn’t figured it out -

I told my MD with all the continued bleeding and tiredness I had gone from sleeping 12 hours a day to needing more like 16 (so exhausted after being awake 8 hours). He asked me if I was finding time to exercise (!)

Yep, tried Lysteda/Tranexamic Acid, and I agree it promotes clotting. Here is what happened to me - it sorta stopped my period but I was having terrible, horrible cramps - both lower back and abdominal. After taking it for two days, I had an odd sensation come over me while in the shower. SOMETHING is happening down

Wait - hold up a minute - I think we’re all missing the point - congrats on being able to BOOK the airbnb while black!

Yikes - I say listen to your gut and if there is anything else you can do, do it in order not to take more Lupron. It is scary and upsetting to me that there are so few solutions to all these problems we experience as women. If men had these problems, they would already be solved. I think I saw it in the Jez comment

I am so sorry you are going through all of this and hope you get some relief soon, too.

doe anyone have any advice re kicking someone out? I took in a desperate, needy friend a year ago after his business failed. He told me for no longer than 3 months; I saw his position clearer than him and I said I would give him a year. It has been said year and he is no closer to leaving - he may be further away, as

+1 for info on Lupron - I found info on it while researching what might help me and that drug sounds scary as hell. I would not take it based on stories of women taking it for the short term but being permanently sent into menopause & other scary outcomes.

Are you still on BC and the MD isn’t concerned about your leg, which sounds like a possible clot/DVT?!?!

If your friend could find a ticket on the secondary market, could you not do the same for your mother? Or is it an assigned seating thing where you wouldn’t be together that way?

I am so happy for you, for her, for her progress! Congrats on getting the graduation date set! Here’s hoping she continues to gain health and perspective.
And I am seething for Maddie, too. I wouldn’t want anyone so young to be jaded, but perhaps a glimpse into the kind of jerky behavior “men” can act out will give her

I haven’t followed too closely but I know the paternity was in question early on - not sure if it still is - but when I read 2 weeks pregnant, I immediately thought IVF or some other similar fertility treatment, rather than natural conception - not that it matters or is anyone’s business!

congrats!

don’t forget Serge Kovaleski - I think Trump’s mocking of him should be in the montage, too.

that is two words...

As a child, I remember once getting the tea and being surprised by the little ceramic monkey inside. We must have only bought it that once, though, because that was the only figurine we ever had. I probably never realized it was in every box or otherwise I would have asked mom to switch from Lipton’s (or store

I am still on Friendster!

I am removing stars so I am replying to say 100% this. A friend of a friend went through the same thing - left her abusive husband because she was in love; meanwhile the love stagnates because “he compromised himself” for her and thinks he deserves better. erg!

I have had to change how I eat, too. May I suggest you try to get more healthy oils? Add some flax oil to that smoothie, try roasting a sweet potato and add coconut oil, coconut aminos directly onto a diced avocado - YUM. Feed the brain!

I had a boss that believed Google wasn’t evil just because their motto used to be (maybe still is - who knows?) “don’t be evil”. I wish the world was a kind as his naivetè told him it was...
