Stuntman, call me. That record is on my radar.

Once everyone realizes this the cat will be out of the bag. Savings on electric is huge, compared to our old SUV RR sport supercharge. With far greater acceleration.

You can plug a tesla into a standard 120/110volt outlet. You will get 4 miles of charge per hour that your plugged in. So for your 10 miles per day commute the car would be charged by the time you wake up in the morning. For other with longer commutes, a 208/240v 80 amp wall charger circuit will get 58 miles for each

The system works well in bumper to bumper traffic . It takes some if not all the anxiety out of the grind of the 405 at rush hour.

Yes for record runs, planning is vital. Going on vactation or general driving , not so much. The cars onboard computer will calculate the nessisary charging stops along the route. I will even figure your arrival time with charging.

Restrooms are within walking distance. Felt great to stretch our legs, every once in a while.

I'll take my chances with a Tesla with mantis cr long before I go into debt with a Ferrari or Lamborghini.

Number of Supercharging stops remained the same. We did not have support because I didn’t have a budget for it. I also wanted to prove that “drafting” was not relevant to setting the record.

No we were not paid by Tesla. Our teams have sent five transcontinental world records together. I've set one solo Trans record. We do them on a slim budget.

Our tesla is our daily driver we us it to got to from LA to Seattle , FL, Grand Canyon, Vegas, PA and NYC. It does not hinder us in any way. 300 miles of range is plenty in daily driving. On weekends to earn money we use it to Uber as well. Frankly it the best car we ever owned: no oil changes no fan belts no radiator

That is correct. Gintis stopped recording transcontinental speed records on public roads in the 1960s. However there are some categories that are creatively titled but they will still record. Like for example, “The least non-drive time in electric vehicle from LA to NY.”

What are you talking about? We hold world records from Guinness and there is no such requirement.

Cannonball baker left from Linchon park in Los Angeles to do his transcontinental motorcycle ride. This was the first transcontinental of it’s type. During the 1970s when Brock Yates revived the cannonball Bruhns he started from New York a reverse can a bowl of sorts but people forget that Edwin cannibal Baker started

I don’t mind waiting . 20 minutes every 2-3 hours. If I have to charge twice on a trip that is 150.00 saving not having to buy gas. 150.00 for an hour of my time is not bad: we usually eat or have a short walk to get a cup of coffee and use the restroom.

No range issues here, we traveled to Florida last dec. that trip we jumped a section were no superchargers where turned on yet. When outside the network we used 3 RD party chargers. They are everywhere see Plugshare.com

We gone from CA Florida, New York , seattle. Never a problem. Leave the house each morning with a full charge. W/ 300 miles of range. We rarely exceed that. Unless we go on a trip then we use the superchargers. SC are free. Solar panel at home offset any electric we use. On the tech side and financial ROI it's the

Charging stations / superchargers are now upgrading to solar awnings that store the Suns energy on sight. Until a tesla rolls in and charges. Closed loop, I don’t have to give my money to foreign countries that wish do do us harm. Barstow and Ft Tejon have solar already. The fusion plant in the Skye is already

No support team this time. Now how is it we made better time with no drafting?

Guinness says we can go either direction for shortest non drive time in an EV.
