My Alfa has gotten pretty stable after a few years of weeding through issues. Starting to think about a Range Rover...

Wait, that didn’t come out right...

I have a teenage daughter (who drives a 3-pedal TJ - good parent, or great parent?).  I often ask her to stop speaking teenager and instead speak something we understand, like english or spanish.  I cannot imagine being a HS teacher ...

“Gas”. I’ve heard “gas”, as in “this pizza is gas” or “check out that gas Fiat”, used as a term to describe how dope something is.

I am more curious about the tone of this article when the rate of unemployed has little to do with the federal government and everything to do with the states... unless they are arguing about the feds not stepping in and regulating all states to be on the same page. But that being said... I understand people have been

Whatever happened to “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”?

Are you worried about Jalopnik suffering the same fate as Deadspin with these political takes that dont center around automotive discussions?

That would be a good thing...as you said, it isn’t kitsch or cool, it symbolizes a very dark period for many.

I’ve found lately that a lot of the time when companies go bankrupt it’s not because there’s anything wrong with their business model, but because there’s a bunch of corporate shenanigans going on behind the scenes that mean no matter what they do they’re screwed.

Your “my bad” is way too fucking late man. Throwing out ‘oh you’re racist’ just because you saw a shirt? Fuck all that might be one of the stupidest things I’ve ever read on this site. You are part of the problem when you do that, do you understand that?

No way, that guy’s shirt definitely makes him a racist. He’s a fucking piece of shit racist, black hating, white supremacist. Didn’t you see his shirt? /S

Some Landlords are beyond happy if they:

I keep being surprised at all the bougie prudes on this site who apparently feel the need to give a goddamn what their neighbors do and how they keep their yard. But I shouldn’t be. Most of you bitching aren’t about that life with grease under your fingernails and gasoline in your veins. You’re desk jockeys who write

Don’t be a dick.

Putting up a shed to store “a vehicle and some stuff” gives a poor ROI. David needs a bigger non-rental property to put up a bigger building. I’d imagine part of that problem is that writing for a blog probably pays less than being an engineer.

I was going to slash down my fleet as a way to focus more on things that 20-something year-old people should be doing, and less on wrenching all day, every day.

Oh, you’re gonna find out in about two weeks. Prepare your souls!

I’ve been following the stories here, David, and have a question.

We have very different ideas of "hellish" conditions.
