Honestly, I’m alright with this. My only complaint about modern minivans is they have been too bubbly and swooshy, and maybe this accounts for their perception in the public eye. More usable volume inside while you’re at it since instead of rounded surfaces you gain more corners.

You check if there’s any local events around you? I mean, last year had a significant dearth of events because of Reasons but I expect them to pick up again this year. A lot of folks dip their feet in the 1lb and 3lb classes and a good year (a.k.a not last year) sees several dozen around the US.
