Passing someone going 70 mph while your only going 71 mph is the problem. If it takes you 4 miles to pass someone are you really passing them? (the answer is no your actually driving in the left lane which is only for passing) passing should only take at a max 20 seconds. so the solution is don’t pass or speed up pass

That said, I’m genuinely surprised Disney World didn’t snatch that up themselves for a sum higher than $85k.

and now this new law will allow the CHP to punish those who are unsafely lane splitting. unlike before when there where no written rules.

I think the new law is good, it protects drivers. Lets say you change lanes and a motorcyclist rear ends you, while traveling faster then 15 mph over the flow of traffic or lane splitting at a speed greater then 50 mph, I don’t see the driver of the car being held responsible for the accident when the motorcyclist was

I tried that for awhile. Adjusting my side view mirrors to start where my rear view mirror ends. It is amazing, it eliminates blind spots completely. But over time I regressed back to my old ways for some reason, maybe its time to try it again.

The law now also states that your share the lane with a motorcycle. That is why you check your mirrors even if you are only moving in your lane.
