It’s unbelievable that in this day and age simply agreeing on factual reality of a single day makes someone an ally. Cheney is only a few months out from calling these same Democrats “baby killers” who kill babies outside the womb. So it’s not like she isn’t willing to tow the company line no matter how ridiculous.
Cheney disagreed with Trump essentially twice with her votes to impeach. Otherwise she voted with him about 97% of the time. She agrees with what he does, just not how he does it.
Add to that list all the people who wrote/are writing books about all the horrible, illegal, things they witnessed while members of the administration, but couldn’t do the right thing and bring all those crimes to light when it might have stopped some of them from occurring. They don’t regret a thing, would do it all…

I covered a small women’s rights rally in my small Michigan county that just happened to be a day after the leak of the ruling (it was planned before that) and they had somebody there collecting signatures.
A lot of people showed up just to sign it.
I’m glad this is happening and I really hope it translates to people actually voting. Not just in the national elections either.
I’m super happy about this news. However, the cynic in me is saying it’s too late. All these fuckers should have been voting in both 2016 and 2020 otherwise we wouldn’t even be in this position. Ugh.

This. This is absolutely why people who do the “you shouldn’t give attention to it” dance fail to understand. That by not responding to it, we are giving the implicit approval that NFT’s (or the ways crypto nerds want to run it) are valid.
If you just give them this space uncontested, you’re just giving them exactly what they want, and buying their narrative that they’re relevant.
